Res has never met a dog? That is weird. I mean, at the Pridelands conventions, there are always a few dogs...

I just hope Grape does not interrupt Peanut while he tells his tale.

I have to admit it is rather strange he has never met a dog before since there are ones at book signings and conventions. Even if he has his owner do it all for him hes still there (because I doubt the time he met Grape was his first one). He must be very, very good at hiding at them.

He might mean that he's never met a dog outside the book signings. Even then, I imagine there aren't all that many dogs who go to such (if the GODC is any indication of canine attitudes).

Yeah that would make much more sense IMO. Well the US is a rather large place who knows how many book signings or conventions hes been to, (I think there's what, at least 3 Pridelands books, possibly more.) plus we don't know how prevalent that attitude is in the dog community as a whole its possible its actually very rare.

Joey wasn't disguised, remember the cats know who he is in the cat suit. And I think there may have been one or two but they were not shown.

Oh right, what was I thinking. Hmm... Maybe Joey didn't actually get a book signed, and he just wanted to be there? I dunno.

I'm excited on some backstory on Peanut and Grape. I wonder if we'll see other pets? I honestly expect Martin and Tiger to actually show up as opposed to someone more important like Maxwell (who i think would have the best opportunity to show off if he had that bite mark when he was a kitten or not)

You know I can just Imagine Grape and Peanuts first words to each other.
Peanut: "What are you?"
Grape: "I'm a Cat." (Also Possible "I'm a Cat, you dumb mutt.")
Peanut: "What's a Cat?" Grape then face palms hard

I could see this happening. Also I'd like to see if there was a second choice Peanut was going with.

I've been thinking, I wonder if Grape knows that Peanut picked her out at the shelter. Part of me thinks, duh of course she does there's no way she doesn't, but then I think that would be a rather interesting plot twist if she doesn't.

I don't think it was mentioned that he did, I don't think we even know if he was there when picking her out

Well hes there now and since Mrs. Sandwich is telling him that they can only take one home, I think its rather safe to assume that Peanut is going to be the one to pick out who they adopt. Obviously I could be wrong but it doesn't look that way.
