Grape gets it and Max is arguably older then Grape, and while I know Max is kind of an idiot I doubt hes so much of one he doesn't get how bad being petnapped is.

Hes ok with someone being petnapped. I don't care how much of a jerk and a bully you are no one should be petnapped. Edit: IMO there is no justification for that kind of reaction.

Because he said "He deserved what was coming to him." to me that indicates he knew that he had been petnapped and even if he didn't someone is still missing, normal people would be concerned for them at least a little bit.

It's awesome to see he did have his ear in good condition back when he was a kitten. Double points for being a stray, which makes him even more awesome in my book. <3 And man is he big! Makes me believe either he was strong back then and that Grape was probably treated like a runt alot in comparison. Also is cool to know that she grew up to match his size eventually.

It really doesn't surprise me that he thinks being a cat deserves it's own side of the equasion so to speak. He pretty much radiated that at the start. His comment about him being happy about Fox not coming home though makes me wonder how badly the bullying was between Fox and the cats though, but even Max should know better to consider this good faith on Fox's behalf.

Well truth be told we don't actually know if hes a Stray or not. As Peanut has walked around with his collar off before and Bino only wanted to not be seen so he wouldn't be made fun of, as has Grape. (or at least that is the assumption of the whole thing that made Tarot stop using the Halodeck powers.) Its possible that when they are in BG or at least where people know them to be Pets they don't actually have to wear the Collars.

Edit: Also Grape seems to already know him from her comment about him also being a bully and a punk. So he most likely has been around a while. Its unlikely a Stray would be that bold as to come out in the day time and hang around even in Babylon Gardens with out Animal Control being called on him.

Edit 2: Also you have to consider what happened to Joels pets when they left their homes too. If that is any actual indication of what strays are like (and not just a occasional freak thing that sometimes happens to them) then Max is very likely not a Stray.

While i can agree that he might not be a stray, i'm convinced he is one for now just from his age, collarlessness and mannerism. As far as Maxwell being at risk of animal control, i'm sure he didn't care. He seemed like the kind of cat back then that enjoyed playing cat and mouse games with authority in my opinion and being a stray would sure enforce that kind of thinking onto him i'm sure of it.

Also, Joel's pets were from housepets to strays where the opposite would have happened to Maxwell, which as sad as it is for Joel's luck, it makes me enjoy the fact that Max was adopted by Jeffas a stray even further if it's the truth. I like Jeff even if he seems rough to both Bino and Max.

Ok I'll give you that Max might just not care about Animal Control. However if Max was always a stray, which would technically make him a Feral; because a Stray is the equivalent of an abandoned or runaway Pet from what I gather and he would have been born on the streets. (never having had an owner at all from what you are saying) He is rather well taken care of, he doesn't look underfed or dirty or anything. So that also makes me believe he has an owner and just doesn't want to wear the collar.

Oh yeah I kind of forgot the time that he fell from the balcony at the Miltons place.

What is with everyone assuming that the size means they're just bigger? Is everyone you know exactly the same age?

What is mean is that because Bino is mostly doing something mean to others, many people who read HP! comic always wish him harm because to them, he was a jerk. Mostly what I read was: broken legs, wheelchair, long comma in hospital, inoperative limbs and such.
Here is something similar. Max calls him a bully and a punk. That means Fox had to give to other pets a hard time (mostly cants) if he says such thing and he must really hate him.
But there's one thing. You're saying all the time that Fox was petnapped. But try to look on this from Max's point of view. As Seth said earlier, Max said only that Fox didn't arrive home last night. So that doesn't mean that he knows what exactly happened to Fox. Of course, we readers assume that he was petnapped, but the characters may thing something else. Perhaps like: he got offended at his dad so much that he run away or something like that.

Max specifically said that "He deserved what was coming to him." That implies to me that he knows something happened to Fox (the Petnapping in this case) if he had thought Fox had just run off he most likely would have said something along the lines of that hes gone or took off or ran away. And he also implies that Fox had gotten his "comeuppance" for being a bully and a punk which Max wouldn't. When you get you comeuppance, something has happened to you, you haven't run away.



I knew he was older thanks for confirming. Now the question is how much older is he? I'm going with no more then a half a year to a year. So 2 1/2-3ish

Well all my friends used to be the same age until I started meeting people online and at furmeets, so it's an understandable (though incorrect) assumption to make.

To me the cast in terms of oldest to youngest goes like this

The first because remember Res gave the note to Maxwell knowing that it would get to Grape so I'm sure he knows they are dating. Also Bino would have had no hand in getting Fox kidnapped he's a jerk not a monster.

Can I just say that this is one of my favorite arcs
partially because of the triumphant return of not just Peanut and Grape, but also Res, Bino, the whole GODC, Max, and Max's face.

It will have a tough time beating out The Arc Specifically About Being Naked for my favorite, but if we could cram Tiger in somehow it might have a chance.



That's true, although part of that is the separation of age groups in grade schools, which, of course, doesn't apply to the pets.

This is honestly my second favourite arc next to the watergun war one because we get some tidbits on everyone.

Oh, and Maxwell is naked infront of Grape, who is not even phased. Wonder how many cats chased him down when he was young?
