I love simple jokes like this. *laughs*

Evidently this pillow fight wasn't slow-motion.

Knocked the stuffing out of him o_o

At least Max is getting the biggest impact of the year: A pillow swipe from Grape that knocked over some furniture on the way to the ground =3

I'm also surprised i haven't gone crazy over the amount of cuteness! on how maxwell and grape are having a pillow fight together oh mah gawdness cuddling cats on the pillows and one of them beating one senselessly out of nowhere <3

Max's pawpads are actually seen earlier in this https://www.housepetscomic.com/2010/10/25/the-works/ but today's strip work better ;)

I noticed that whiskers stop being drawn lately

Memory foam pillows are awesome. I had no idea they could be used as a weapon too! I learn so much about violence from Grape!

I wonder if Max is faking it. Legs in the air is just the mellow dramatic touch Max would do...

Whose house are they in?

I wonder how Mr. and Mrs. Sandwhich are going to react to the mess.

Probably use to it by now, but it would be funny if they considered Max the bad guy in this scenario. Considering that both Max and Grape are known for their mischiefs, i bet they would do it just because he's her boyfriend <_< >_>

But i doubt they would intentionally blame him for anything serious, just the light-hearted mischiefs.

It's almost 2012 and Peanut hasn't died on his DS this time.

I think it's going to be a good year for him.

I was wondering the same thing.

Only Rick can make what's an obvious cop-out: a comic with mostly text and some static-ish art, and yet it's still awesome. I like the TV strips; they're just as funny and just as cute as anything else.

Hehe.. the snarky TV announcer makes his triumphant return!

Google tells me that 'salut' is French for hello or some such, so I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Peanut is playing Solotarobo (all the spoken dialogue in that game is in French, for some reason).

And that last panel is a) funny and b) so horribly, horribly true. *shudders*

I wish all channels could have blunt voice overs like this, when i look at recent episodes of the simpsons i die inside, but sky has nothing bad to say about them which i am hoping is because they pay them not to have opinions.

Here's my own little spin on this strip.

"And now on CNL (Canned Laughter Central), we bring you back to back episodes of Nine and a Half Beavers, a show which sets you up with a funny pilot just to dissapoint you for twenty more weeks. Then tonight at ten Charlie Sheen gives you a taste of his bloated wallet in Junk Monkeys!"
