Rook:
i’m going to bet that the next strip goes like this.

Bailey – “Here you go cutie!”
King – “Fahbwa…gwabwall…ssaa”
Bailey – “Huh, bit low on brains isnt he?”
Fox – “Actually i think he likes you…a lot”.
Bailey – *makes a smitten face* “Oh, well if he ever recovers tell him that i’d love to howl with him sometime” *Leaves*
King – *Eyes stretch even wider*
Fox – “What I tell you, you got one good looking face…”
I can see that being worked into a comic. Even if it is a bit racy.

Aoogah! Humuhnuh-humunuh.

Your assuming that Rick is worried that some folks getting mad and no longer reading the comic would stop him in any way from telling a story the way he wants to tell it. Housepets did alright before King and it would do alright without King.
I wouldn't get mad and stop reading. The only way I'd stop reading is if for some reason house pets started to be less intriguing then it is.

doesn't look racy to me. King did ask Tarot to howl with him before.

seconded
I like KIngs(not as much as the creepy shipping crowd but I'm still a fan)
but it seems awefully petty to quit reading a comic because the author didn't bend the story to your whims.

I love King arcs. They have the best embarrassing moments throughout the comic. I can't wait to see the awkward situations. I'm eagerly waiting for the next comic. King and Bailey interacting is going to be hilarious. I can't wait to see King's face get red again.

I enjoy the discomfort of King a little too much.

Awfully optimistic, aren't we? The latter part is true though.

Yeah, that would be stupid.

That's why the fanfiction are there for. So you can create your own stories based on the comic. xD.

Until Rick says its not going to happen or the comic ends there is still a chance. I think its a better chance then most people think but that could just be the shipper in me talking.

Oh wow, I never noticed that. I'm sure we'll see them closer to Christmas time. The cuteness is far more than Rick is capable of passing up!

Rick did say on his Google+ that there will be no more long arcs Until December ("Okay that is it, no more long arcs . . . until December" is the direct quote), so maybe it will focus on the two of them (or one of them anyway) since its been a while. At least I'm sure they will get a one off or two (maybe not together) soon.

Actually so you guys don't get your hopes up despite having no input (AGAIN) I'll just say that I'm not going to focus on Peanut/Grape again until January. But you guys will LOVE what I have planned.

hmmm its a long arc that won't focus on Peanut or Grape and it won't focus on King most likely as he just had an arc. (though its possible I guess) I'm gonna guess Sabrina and Fido, Sasha or the Nerds (namely Pete most likely).

Precisely.

Also, no long arcs until December? :| I'm confused: what DEFINES a long arc?

I think Planned for the Peanut and Grape arc in January. (it could be for the December arc but the wording makes me believe its the P&G arc.) And I always believed a Long Arc was an arc that was a month or more. Edit: what Rick said

I don't mind being updated, but i appreciate the spoiler <3

Although it leaves me curious what will go on this December, I find the idea that Peanut and Grape are being saved for the new year afterwards really neat afterwards. Wonder what year 2012 will be like!

Okay, WHY do King's eyes look like that in the last panel?

Also, clearly Fox doesn't have a problem with this at all.... Wonder how that's going to play out?

And how does King know it's waterproof?

Oh, REAL nice to mention that fact earlier, King!

I wonder if Fox will in fact encourage this?

I predict an awkward Thanksgiving dinner moment.

Have a safe journey north, Rick!

I daresay, Bailey looks quite dashing in the first panel. I also liked the detail of the belt collar, though it seems strikingly similar to Bino's.

Is it just me or does Bailey seem fairly awkward around him as well?

Hmmmmm, I wonder how King's gonna react? He seemed pretty enamoured in the last panel.
how long is he gonna hold out before "going native" (if he does at all)
or is this just gonna make his decision not to get romantically involved more difficult?
I'll be taking bets now......
:P

I would rather not THIS be the primary reason he decides to remain a dog, if that is indeed what his decision will be. :?

Duplicate that sentence while changing "dog" to "human" and that's my position too.

Care to elaborate? After putting a quarter in the swear jar?

Great first panel by the way. But I can't look at that sound effect the same way thanks to Archer.

And I don't know if I've ever seen King so adorable. I dare someone to show me a better King than than!

Fox'll recommend turkey rather than chicken. Time to go festive?
