Not quite, Copper Compare Fido in 3rd and 4th panel again. Oh well. Guess their work is not going as they planned. So far Nefarious Villains on the lead!

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
You know, this reveals something positive about Ralph: First, he's NOT denying the existence of the ghost flat out! WOW. Second, he's admitted he's not able to handle the situation!! That SAYS something about how he does his work: he may be "serious and humorless", but he knows when he's outmatched or needs to consider the situation. This is an encouraging sign if he were to find out, for instance, who King REALLY is. He'd fail at trying to arrest a dog, and he can't coerce Sabrina or Tarot into backing up who he is (though perhaps Pete could). (Side note: Rick, please don't do a story like this. ) But to sum up: he's NOT a skeptic! Oh, and I noticed Spo's absence too! He got away! He can either help the squad out of this, run and get reinforcements........................... or just stand there at laugh at them.

Nice to know Fido knows his girlfriend's secrets. *gasp* Tarot is cheating on Peanut with Ralph! That harlot!!!

Well it's possible others know them too, it's just that Fido doesn't want anyone to know why he knows.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Wow, this was unexpected. Looks like the villains either didn't see the ghost, or the ghost works for them! Because I don't think that anyone would be able to take hostages with a random ghost around. As far as I can see, there are four possibilities of what might happen: 1) Spo will help them. Bite through the ropes or something. 2) Sabrina and/or Tarot will help them somehow. Maybe by talking to the ghost, or by showing up themselves. 3) The ghost itself will help them somehow. 4) The dogs will untie themselves. I wonder if any of those are right

I'm going with the Ghost and Spo doing all the work. The way i see it, the Ghost will indirectly help Spo rescue them somehow.

The ghost doesn't seem malevolent, and as Fido stated; a ghost can't steal his/her own treasure.

That one human looks familiar for some reason. What is that ghost saying to Ralph, I wonder. Spo does not seem to care as long as he gets the credit for saving them...

there should really be a "human faces" tag, just so it's easier to keep count.
and which human looks familiar, Cu?

So, they don't seem fazed by GHOSTS. Also, are pet abduction or assault offenses like the WORST POSSIBLE thing to do in this comic? I wouldn't be surprised, but STILL! Makes it likely that Joel would appear on "America's Most Wanted".

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
lol The ghost is really tiny. Also Yay! Spo and for some odd reason I like the fact that in this universe if you mess with even Police Animals you are in trouble with inmates.

I'd like to see that type of treatment with animals, police or not, in ALL universes.
But, alas, our society is not very strict with anything anymore.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
It's just far away. The ghost seems bigger than most humans are. Yeah, I knew it! Spo is helping them, after all And why won't ??? talk?! Also, it seems that ghosts are a common thing in the HP universe. Because the thieves talk about dealing with ghosts as an annoyance, not an impossible, scary mission, like in the real world.

there's a speech bubble where the ghost would be. even if there weren't, it's a cussing ghost. It can be invisible if it wants.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
No... that, I think, would've been more possible with Kevin. Anybody ever wondered why the Aztec ghost is an animal? Its funny that no one asked (I think...) Well, I've been digging around, and now I think he isn't the ghost of somekind dead Aztec warrior... but more a deity! Like Tezcatlipoca. Tezcatlipoca is was sometimes depicted as a jaguar, and if that were true, than this treasure is a lot more significant!

They explain random things in logical way, followed by taking off the mask of the now "friendly" ghost on witch everyone will gasp and simultaneously say "the ferrets!?"

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Is it just me or does anyone else feel that the Crazy Old Limerick Guys part in this story was kind of pointless? I mean its not like they figured it out from the saying they gave him, the ghost just told Ralph everything making the Limerick Guy kind of useless and redundant. Not that don't mind seeing him again but story wise it didn't do anything.
