Somehow I can imagine Grape treating Max similarly in "real life" if they got married (or the closest thing pets could possibly do).

Grape is great at acting, I see. She would never orce someone to kill. She would just do it herself!

I just noticed how Rick managed to do all these expressions without eyes at all. That's pretty impressive.

And Max just goes and breaks character (I think?). lol I love the first panel it's great.

I know what MacBeth is, I don't find it that interesting though.

I kind of like how they're improvising though it in their own way for fun, makes it a bit more interesting and cute.

I wonder if there will be an "accidental mental projection" somewhere along the line?

EDIT: And you know, since we're now used to the idea of a "murder" and "coughvariousformsoftomatoesaucethatlooklikebloodcoug" in the comic, you think could be setting us up for a 180 and turn it Darker or It Got Worse on us? Just tossing that out there. But, granted, this is a pg comic, I don't see that happening.

No, Housepets! is not going to suddenly get darker just because the pets perform their own version of Macbeth and use ketchup/catsup as a prop.

Yeah, that's a silly notion at best. acting out Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet is usually a very common trend in acting for school plays.

I love the first panel, its just shows how silly and stupid this play is in terms of plot and what not.

So, who is it doing the narration?
