The Hubris Banquet! I need to go to that.
I love how they are playing with Shakespeare. Changing immutable prophecy. Pshaw!
Peanut really gets into character, huh?

I forgot that Banquo and his son flee the scene beforehand. It's humorous in a sense that another way people could've looked at it is Banquo fleeing in fear of his family's life, but noooooo! They assumed he's guilty! D:

That is exactly why i write the Fox as a villain.
So check out my Deviant art http://exranion.deviantart.com/ It has ponies, furries, and the link to my tumblr!
Re: ARC 44: LET'S IMAGINATE MACBETH!
Just an epic Max face in the red panel...
The screams were hilarious. Max is an incredible actor, or he really got freaked out by Peanut's Banquo...
Peanut makes a good ghost.

lol I was actually looking forward to how this part of the play would turn out (this and the sleepwalking part which I think should be really soon) This is awesome! Max is great in panel four.

It's scary because Peanut is actually a ghost and not just covered in flour and ketchup.

Re: ARC 44: LET'S IMAGINATE MACBETH!
Clearly Macbeth is so angered by this development that he had to resort to peeking at the audience through the paper bag. =3
I'm honestly laughing at the idea of anyone (especially the owners) seeing this. Wouldn't they find it creepy seeing fake blood or hearing Maxwell scream? XD
Nonetheless, loving every bit of this now. Maxwell's overacting and Peanut as a ghost are just that amusing.

I seriously doubt Tarot would kill her boyfriend, so my guess would be "Yes".

Maxwell's fear of ghosts might be considered acting by the others.Sinder wrote:Is... is he acting?
Then again, Maybe he's just that good at acting!

What do you mean? There's been plenty of "i"s in this arc. And darn you "guard"! Stop breaking my fourth wall already! I blame the narrator!

I thought this was funny, but, well, I know it's KETCHUP, but the sight of it is getting to me a bit. Is that wrong?
Then again, they have paper bags, colanders, pots, pans, and MUGS on their heads.

Re: ARC 44: LET'S IMAGINATE MACBETH!
I wouldn't say that's wrong. the scene is usually always like that, even with the fake blood. The more dead someone looks the more afraid you become, but in this sense Peanut is clearly not a ghost, so the blood would have little effect in this case.PhoenixAsper wrote:I thought this was funny, but, well, I know it's KETCHUP, but the sight of it is getting to me a bit. Man, I remember when this comic used to be funny. Not killing off the characters and such... Total Cerebus Syndrome here.Teh Brawler wrote:Peanut is dead, obviously.

Pfft. I used carp as an expletive before it was cool. [/hipster] =P
I've never read Macbeth and have only the faintest idea of what it's about, but this is still really funny. Now I just need to find out what we'll be reading in English this year. If we're doing Macbeth ... well, I'll definitely be showing this arc to my teacher. I think she'd get a kick out of it. x3

Re: ARC 44: LET'S IMAGINATE MACBETH!
I've read Macbeth I think in the 9th grade. I'm pretty sure everybody dies by the end of the story, except for a couple obscure characters... or maybe that was Hamlet. Anyways, this version is much better than I remember the actual story.Coatl_Ruu wrote: I've never read Macbeth and have only the faintest idea of what it's about, but this is still really funny. You should definitely show your teacher this arc if you read Macbeth.
Re: ARC 44: LET'S IMAGINATE MACBETH!
Well, it would be a good reason to show people why they should read the comic. >.>

You know the whole part that goes "Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble"?ChewyChewy wrote:Um....

That was supposed to have dancing and be set to music. It was also written by Thomas Middleton for a different play years earlier, not Shakespeare.

Best strip of the arc. Peanut makes a good Shakespeare!
Uh... Why is Grape wearing Peanut's collar!?!?!?
EDIT: *facepalms* Stupid weird color mixing..... Nevermind.
Good to see Peanut playing multiple characters...

What was the Thomas Middleton play? *looks it up* "The Witch"?
Wow, is this becoming the "Frasier" of the webcomic world?

See? Peanut's still alive.
Of course, that means Tarot had to take off his collar to slather the ketchup.
