So far they have really only done three worthwhile things, Hiring Miles and his pack, giving King a home and giving all the pets a day at a amusement park, but other then that, the negatives they display far outweigh the positives. I would like a arc that makes them more likeable or gives a parent who can control them instead of everyone around them being helpless to their desires because of billions of dollars.
I'm not exactly sure if they are meant to be portrayed this way though. To me, they are the only pets that have money power that's out of control and i really don't mind that.

I like them over the top, honestly. However, to be more precise; I think it's Keene that's over-the-top. I don't mind seeing the Ferrets when they are in charge, but presenting challenges to them is always amusing as well.

I'm almost positive its a parody of the Hostess Fruit Pies ads that ran in comics in the Mid 70s and 80s (1975-1982 exactly according to Wikipedia)

Oh, this needs to be the front cover for the year 4 book (you know, if it DOES get made). :)

As to the ferrets, someone needs to tell Keene that his father would be disappointed in him. :? If the cast page holds ANY water anymore, that could make him rethink what he's doing with the money. Or he could load up on orange soda again and break down. :? And I mean come on, Lana was concerned about the direction they were headed in that one off over the phone with Keene.

He'd probably draw something new for the cover like he did for Year 1.

This should be on the back cover, not the front. It is a truly epic ending, and should stay that way...

Funny little audio. Where did you scrounge that up from?

You know what? That last panel needs to be made into an ad. It is truly epic, and would work....

And those are definitely Keene's glasses...

One more comic to go in this arc, yes?

I do NOT look forward to the day when the Opener is threatened and the woodland critters wage a fanatic war on the pets and humans. :?

 Silly Ferals. This arc has made me like Zach even more then before (and he was already my favorite of the secondary characters) hes now one of my top three just beating out Max for the third spot. I wonder what could happen in Fridays comic? There doesn't seem like much left to tell. The only thing I can think of is Peanut and Grape telling the Dogs about who flooded the Club House. I would love to see them go after the Ferrets for that it would be great! :D

Except Rick said in the comments of 'The Only Way To End' that the arc ends on Friday (https://www.housepetscomic.com/2011/08/ ... ment-80930) so there is one more left and I really have no idea what he's going to do with it other then maybe have the dogs getting revenge on the Ferrets for flooding the Club House. (as I said above)

I bet it ends with Bino still hanging upside down.

There are so many things it really could be (actually why hes not just ending the arc here and going to One offs at this point I really don't understand) because the arc is really over at this point an just about everything has been resolved. In fact except for what I mentioned about the Dogs, Max maybe finding out about Grape being the double agent, and Bino still being upside down everything else is resolved really.

To tell you the truth, I was a bit sad that the arc's coming to an end. It's so fun to see all the speculations and guesses, and how Rick's managed to surprise me so many times here! XD

I support Brent's and IceKitsune's idea, my money's on Bino left behind in the cell. :D

Fine fine = w=..

As to my guess about the comic on Friday.
Keene, who was the "evil mastermind", did escape.
So as with all villains that escape, he might get the final scene for himself to monologue.
and probably questioned by someone close by.

What i would find funny for Friday:

We cut to Keene selling all the waterguns in store. one of his first customers is Max. cue him holding true to his word. Bonus points if Grape and Peanut are these to witness it.

Phff. Rick manipulates all our imaginations anyway.

Besides, i wouldn't be surprised if Rick decided to have Keene ban Max from malls if he does decide to go along witih my idea. i'm totally not invoking any universal cat jynxes!

...am i?

I say a double strip wrapping up all these loose ends. one panel of Bino upside down, a few of Max following through on his promise to bludgeon Keene with his biggest gun, etc.

This comic was awesome. Who knew the Opener was so powerful?

I would hope it is Bino upside down, but a pan out to see where that darn dungeon actually is! That is the one thing about this whole arc that has bugged me to no end. If the GODC basement has been flooded, then where could it be?

And I want to see Joey going to his doghouse in his catsuit or something. Joey in his catsuit always looks awesome.

if you re read the strip where he says that the clubhouse got flooded, he says he moved the base to miles' basement

great ark btw, too bad i couldnt see king go all out war style, that woulda been awesome XD

That's true. And it would fit - King hates the K9 and that would want to make him join the cat side. But then again, I doubt he's interested in such things.

King is the one who got Bino chained up. He is too busy torturing Bino in the dungeon right now to notice the war has ended.

Zach's handwriting borders on calligraphy. It is really good!

Ok I'm fine with this but I still don't understand why she didn't tell him right off the bat. Rick just explain it to me because apparently I'm a moron who just doesn't get it, it really doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Woah, I'm proven wrong again! XD
The title pretty much sums up the strip and the whole arc, I think.

As much as I support the fanon pairing, I absolutely love the last panel, they look so sweet together! X3
And I agree with what Max said =3
