lol I like the close up shots on Grape and Max. I can't wait till we actually meet her I wonder whats going to happen.

Edit: I don't know about anyone else but Max kind of reminds me of Rocky from Lackadaisy in panel 3

I like to know what's on that list =P

I figured Max would be coming. I'm curious if he's got something special planned for the trip?

Max looks like the stereotypical computer geek in action movies to me. I can just see him explaining in great detail the security system of some bank to a world-class thief.

Grape: "So how's it work, Doc?"
Max: "Well, [long, overly technical explanation.]"
Grape: "Oh, so it's like [simple, mundane analogy for the stupid viewers]?"
Max: "Precisely."

How in the world could the girl in Jurassic Park hack a computer when she couldn't even shut off a flashlight?

Anywho, I'm liking Rick's tendnecy to pull closer to the characters talking in the panel. It really adds a new sense of depth to the scene. There are two images I have for the author: Middle aged mom who is totally a fangirl of her own work, or the total opposite old woman with gray hair who speaks very light and sweetsy.

EDIT: Also, how much you wanna bet Grape comes to the signing with a wheelbarrow full of Pridelands merchandise? Literrally or figuratively.

"Miss Auburn" is a poodle.

Specifically, she's this poodle:

Because he has giant puppy eyes in panel 3

Heck, in this comic Max is PURE awesome. EEEEEEE!
Also, Grape acting Peanut-like is so totally cute! If Miss Auburn ever gave her a caress, she'd go BSOD like Peanut did with the barn cats. Absolutely!

I'm kinda glad. The dogs had been in the spotlight a little bit too much. If I had to guess I'd say Rick realized this.

Not like I don't like the dogs, because I do. They are awesome.

I could never get enough of the cats, honestly <3

I feel though this arc will give them a good amount of spotlight though before the new year.

You just happen to share two sides of the same computer screen (for one panel at least).

So they have 4, 8 or sometimes even 12 screens? Maan that's a lot of screens! I wish I had that many screens :(

Mark up the spoilers, man!

If I ever go to a book signing, I'll ask whether or not they will sign my feet, just to see the reaction...

It's a Euphemism for other things they could ask her to sign.... ...Like tongues.
*shudders* Cats can be very creepy at times... Asking you to sign their tongue....
Also, I am still curious as to what Miss Auburn is going to be like. (I am expecting she will either disappoint Grape's high expectations, or go beyond them and be too epic for her.)

Or be exactly like what Grape expected to be! ... Or be as awesome as Grape expected, but in a different way! ... Or be a little bit better than what she expected! ... Or a little bit worse!

Yes, I have to shoot down every single possibilities! XD ...... Or did I?

But seriously, I think Grape is genre savvy enough to not be disappointed. However, I think Miss Auburn is exactly like what Grape first expected to be, and that alone is a bit too awesome for her!

(Of course, I don't really care what happens. I think it will be fun either way!)

Auburn is the name of an university in Alabama. Each year, a Miss is chosen.

That many cats in a book store has to be a fire hazard.

Cramming that many fans into a bookstore for hours gives me fond memories of the Deathly Hallows midnight release.
