A couple of friends and I were talking about that, and we came to the same conclusion.

Copyright; that would be the best dog name ever.
Now all we need is a cat named Trademark.

Well, to get technical, it's copyright
to Rick, not
by . "By" would be copyright law.
And yes, I'm being spoilsport. :3
On-topic: I cracked up in the third panel. I can't imagine a pet wanting to wear clothing.

Who carse about the dog's name? There are things more important than that!
I.E. what's the stagehand name?

What? Where did that come from? That is so wrong.
His name is Arnold Blackdeutscher
(Schwarz means black on German, and Deutscher means German).

It's like perfume, only it's dog food!
And that balloon looks vaguely familiar. ;3

The balloon was a really nice touch that I can't believe I didn't see coming. I wonder how they misplaced what they wanted to air? I bet Sasha had something to do with it.

I wonder what the actual commercial was supposed to look like. Sasha was great, but not as great as that balloon.

The one thing that's missing is Sasha standing on a cliff at sea, putting on a detached, the-Valium-kicks-in look and saying "Escape... by Canine Cibble".

I love commercials where people jump out of planes and into four lanes of traffic or pick up cars or start flying around the city and at the bottom the producers remind you "Do not attempt."
Sometimes they're obviously just joking, other times I'm not so sure...
I think it would've been funny to see Sasha eat the "cibble", with the disclaimer placed warning the audience not to attempt this.
