I don't see it. Why would it make it less likely?

Maybe I'm just wearing shipping goggles or something.

If anything (and I apologize for not finding a less creepy way of putting this), it establishes that they don't consider each others' mouths too gross to put theirs on.

Hey, it was Brawler that made me look that deep into things. I was just trying to think of ways the comic could suggest a relationship would be more unlikely, and then I found that. Don't blame me. :P

A dogs mouth will still be cleaner than a humans, and a cats mouth is cleaner than a dogs.

I don't know what that proves exactly, but I do know that Sleet took it to a weird place.

If Grape means eating mud in the sense of cleaning herself, then i'm guessing Max does the same thing as well. though i suddenly picture Maxwell's breath smelling like copper pennies now.

Notice that Sleet says "each others'". Not anywhere in there does it say "Max". It should stay like this.

mah husky, once, had stuck a plastic piece around his tooth as if he had incapsulated it. I had to wrestle with the lad to get the stuff out of his mouth.

My cat once bit into a non-toxic glow stick on Halloween. He ran around outside scaring children half the night. Imagine a tuxedo pattern persian running at you with shining yellow eyes and a glowing green mouth. I laughed so hard that night.
