Re: 2018/07/25 - Vegans Taste Better
Even dedicated pet lovers have no compunctions against taking over their pets lives to a much greater degree than Pete took over King's. Some of these interventions are arguably for their own good, others are just because they think their pets look cooler or tougher with their ears and tails docked...

Re: 2018/07/25 - Vegans Taste Better
Just like a lot of (some might say most) D&D players. Pretty much all role-player and videogame characters fit the stereotype of the murder-hobo, and hardly anyone goes "what is it with Link walking into people's houses and smashing up all their stuff". The key difference here being, ...

Re: 2018/07/25 - Vegans Taste Better
As a note, I'm not trying to be dismissive. Just, for reals, Pete isn't a sociopath. People like to simplify characters, and that biases their reading of the characters' actions. Because Rick writes characters with a lot of nuance, this happens a lot to any character that shows even occasional anti...

Pete is not a sociopath. Maybe you are privy to information some of us are not, but all of his behavior throughout the comic paint a picture of someone who very well could be a sociopath. The only instance we have of him showing remorse for objectively horrible behavior is a single scenario under u...

I was actually wondering in the last strip whether Gale was gonna go the "tie them up to save for later" route or if she'd be a more tangible threat, but I guess this makes more sense for the comic.

I still think it's unlikely that Gale and the pack haven't directly interacted, but I'm sure we'll find out one way or the other before the arc is through.

We don't actually know that. Okay, we don't know for absolute certain, but we have more than enough information to make a reasonable assumption that they've met. Gale knows Miles by name, and is familiar enough with his face to pick him out from hundreds of yards away, and she knows Uncle Deadeye i...

Re: 2018/07/20 - Scre
Given what we know about their history, I do find it a little unlikely that Miles would have no clue whatsoever that Gale would have taken over the territory after they left, regardless of whether there was a formal meeting about it or not. We know that the pack has had run-ins with her while they l...

I've always been a fan of the design changes as they happened because they reflect the natural progression of Rick's improvement as an artist. I just love how I can look back on strips from any given year and pick out details that have been improved upon since then.

King seems relatively at peace right now. Wonder if that will keep up when he has to go potty (Keeping it G rated). Even when he was first changed to a dog he still went to the plumbing first. Pueblo really needs to be a recurring character (maybe to play with the wolf cubs). He's so cute and we need more feral cats to balance out these feral wolves.
