Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
In New England, it's just prudent to have a generator - or a neighbor with one who will let you come in and shelter with them when the regional power grid goes "pppfffthit". I JUST moved out of New England. I rented and had no good way to hook a generator up to the house so I just dealt w...

Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
To be totally fair, a generator that's large enough for a house is big, expensive, require maintenance and I would argue that it's not a necessary expense unless you're in an area where it's common to loose power in snow or due to big hurricanes. Both of those things can knock out power for days, an...

I haven't been around in a long while. I feel bad. In the time I was gone, I went to another forum, applied for moderator three times before I got it, then worked my way up the staff positions before eventually becoming one of the three admins on it, with no other higher position to get. I literally...

No, I agree. I've worked my way up to global mod equivalent (though I'm more or less an Admin in all but official title) on another site that's experienced the same reduction in general forum use. We're currently trying to figure out how to kinda breath a little life back into it.

Hey everyone, long time no post for me.
I have to ask since it's coming up. Is anyone going to Bronycon in Baltimore? I'm going all three days and staying in a hotel. If anyone is even making it for just one, it would be cool to possibly try and meet up.

Well, maybe look at it this way Shadow. Instead of paying someone to fix it again, you could try researching what the problem is and see if it's something you could maybe fix yourself? I mean, it seems pretty clear to me that at this point, the smart choice is to stop paying people to fix it any jus...

I've tried joining a few different forums, but I've only ever really been able to stick with one other besides this one. For some reason, it was the only one that appealed to me enough to stick for well over a year now. Though I mostly lurk on it, much like I do this forum these days.

I've actually liked The Man of Steel, Bat Vs Super, and Suicide Squad. DC is trying their best to make good comic book movies that aren't just Marvel lookalikes. I think people look at the Marvel universe movies and automatically go "that's what a superhero movie should be," regardless of ...

You can always talk spoilers if you put the spoiler tags on, but I would say by this point it's probably okay to talk without them. If you haven't watched the movie and don't want it spoiled yet you click on this topic, I don't think you'd have any reason to complain.

It was nice to not only see Fluttershy take a stand on her own, but also force her parents to take one too. I don't know, it felt good as a solo to me. I agree that in the context of the episode, a solo was best to show the isolation that she felt. But the song itself... I can't shake the feeling it was supposed to have the other two singing in it when it was written. It felt like it was missing a climax...
