Joy: I took the other two calculus courses last summer, so I'll be spending this summer doing nothing more than relaxing, working and maybe reading a book or two.

I really like that first one, Doug! The light reflecting on the fog between the trees really gives it contrast. About 3-4 weeks ago we had very cold morning temps when a high pressure system moved over the area. It was strange that there were low clouds that morning with such conditions. It turns ou...

I know it's spring when outside temp's go from -20 F to 82 F in about 18 days. You don't need to look at a thermometer because the roads will shatter into pieces.

Locations closer to the equator have year round daylight periods lasting closer to 12 hours but the sunrise/set time's vary by season. It's only a small difference, but noticeable around the spring/fall equinox's (within the tropics). DST isn't so nice with my schedule. I don't like going to bed whe...

Russia is so massive that it covers 11 time zones. During most of the year, the sun is above the horizon somewhere in Russia.
Also, during the month of May and late July, one can watch the sun rising in Magadan while at the same moment another can watch the sun setting in Moscow.

Try stretching before work. I know I pushed myself over the summer. I had to take on a job of moving furniture and packages over weight limit across the warehouse. I found that resting and eating after work helped alleviate pain. Jobs that require lifting do pay off like Deske said, that's for sure.
