You know I kind of realized something here this is likely kind of why Pets are Pets and human still rule the world in this universe. Living in the moment is fine and all and it works sure; however I think animals in this universe basically never, ever stopped living only in the moment and thought of the future. So they never got anywhere and just became kind of stuck in the same rut as always.
(PS. I know I’m going to be told I’m over thinking this but its an interesting way of looking at it)
No, I think this is a good point. I’m sure the point here is to get King to stop stressing out over things (though the ‘offal’ jokes probably made him want to scrub his brain), but the wolves are too far to the other side as well. One day their blasé attitude is going to backfire. Miles is lucky Animal Control only used tranqs.
Being a sehlat, I may look cat like with my semi-retractable claws and all, but I have more in common with the lupines, mentally. I just hope things resolve for poor King.

Yeah I think he looks a little chubbier too. Panel 3 exaggerates it but he’s not as ‘lean and mean’ as Poncho and Jack. Miles is built bigger overall but still looks more buff than chubby.
