Hi everyone, I’m back! I still have a bit of recovery to do, but I got my energy back and I’m ready to get going! I’d like to thank everyone who pitched in for the guest comics, because we had some pretty awesome ones.
Unfortunately I’m still not quite prepared to roll out HP 3.0 quite yet, but I’d like to have it ready by Christmas. As I’ve stated before, this arc marks the new iteration of Housepets; it’s intended to be a new jumping-on point. You shouldn’t have to know (much) about the comic as things will be iterated in a timely manner.
Also, if you want to see new model sheets for the characters, be sure to vote on TWC!

Heres the thing with his secret (being a human turned into a dog, so a demi-god can play a pointless little game) nobody in their mind is ever going to believe him with out proof which he can’t really easily get. So he has a very good reason to lie and keep the whole thing secret.
No more than the rest of the creepy stuff in the HousePets universe, like if you take the whole trip to the farm seriously…

Been readin this for about a year and ahalf now
And finally decided to join in on the fun
Welcome back, and glad you’re feeling better.
Your style continues to improve noticeably. Viva de evolution! The house and attendant tree in the first panel are well rendered, (actually, the entire background is pretty solid). The middle ground is working nicely, and the shading inside the doorway (3rd panel) gives a sense of depth without making us wonder why all the lights are off. I have to praise those shutters. The mail box…is a bit flat, or a bit small – I can’t really say. The foreground work is pretty good, and the rush lines are spot on. The characters feel more “on model,” and the outlined color patches are less intrusive now that you’ve taken a “lighter hand” on the brush there. The shadows on the drifts (on the fore ground in the first panel) are a bit strong (but are perfect for the middle ground in the same), and the shadowed section around the “impact crater” in panel three put me more in mind of an oil slick than a shadow (though the way it thins out on the right hand side does help to mitigate that some).
Over all, I’d say bully for you!
Oh, and Rick, THANK YOU SO MUCH for using a slightly larger font. It makes translating so much easier! *hugs*
