I did this comic a while ago, and since a new iteration of Housepets is being integrated in starting Friday, I thought I’d get this in while it was still within style.

No, no, the ears are for steering. If she wants him to go faster, she needs to kick his right shoulder, though with Kari, I suspect kicking his *left* shoulder may be more often required.
Leaning your weight on his shoulder works too though. Also, he started moving when she turned his ear, so yeah. >.>
I think the right ear is the throttle and the left ear controls direction; like those omni-directional forklifts that can spin in place. She pushed his right ear forward to move, and he was already pointed at the hallway.

It actually does… but, to be honest. If I be peanut, I would be very very very jealous about such a situation… hanging out is ok… but not in such a way with my own girlfriend… even when they are friends.
I wouldn’t really be jealous i mean as long as he doesn’t try anything.
This is Karishad! While he may not try anything romantic with Tarot, you can bet that he will ALWAYS try SOMETHING!
On an unrelated note, I’m wondering which side Karishad has taken – Pete’s or Dragon’s. And if he’s followed Pete, does this mean he’s a spy?
I doubt he’s with either. If any then I’d vote the Great Kitsune ^^

Well, my friend’s girlfriend (who is also my friend) makes me give her piggybacks, so I can kind of relate to Karishad.
Though, she’s never used me as a motorcycle or step ladder before…
What about Penut’s relationship with Grape? Tarot doesn’t seem to mind all the cuddles, movie dates and other things between the two?

Up until now Rick hasn’t even confirmed that they actually live together. Of course he could still say Tarot might just be visiting Sabrina’s house just like he always says Sabrina could be visiting Tarot.
Actually he did confirm they live together on the forum like last week or so, just that Tarot is not actually owned by Sabrina’s Dad. (nor is she owned by anyone actually.) She is a stray that lives with them basically.
But in the coyote story she had a dad.
No that was Sabrina’s Dad. From what I gather they later (because that story took place before Sabrina and Tarot met) found Tarot on the streets as they were traveling and took her home but never officially adopted her.
You start rescuing injured birds and mice, and the next thing you’ve got homeless pomeranians and foxes hanging out with you.
I guess Fido might be able to secretly take care of a stray mouse or bird, but a pomeranian and a fox is just too much.
An interesting development…Sabrina getting jealous of Kari hanging around Tarot. I’m not sure how that would effect some people’s theories that Kari is somehow in league with Great Kitsune.

Well, her expression in panel 2 could be interpreted as “Well, I dont like this I feel exclude” or as “Why they are doing this if we have a stepladder for that sort of thing ?”
Considering what she says next its safe to assume its the second one.

I didn’t mean to imply anything between Sabrina and Tarot other than their working relationship. A person can still get jealous of a third person suddenly intruding on that type of situation as much as one intruding in a romantic situation.

I know it’s a color bulb but when they change it the dog looks like if she’s drunk and it would it been better if the color of the dogs nose would be the same as her fur.

Good grief is it halloween already? Seems like only yesterday Tarot was showing Peanut how to fly a broom. We don’t celebrate the American holiday with such dramatic flare but any excuse to get dressed up and off to the pub is fine in my book.
