Wow … Just … wow.
I got to say, that I really like the new design of Sasha. She looks better.
What? Everybody likes it? I’m the only one who is afraid of cutie marks and headfluff?
….
Buaaaaahh, I’m the party-pooper, buaaaaah!
Personally, I really don´t mind about the mark, I really like the new headfluf, I think it gives her some … personality.
Also there are some small things about the new design that im not a really big of, for example the eyes. The new eye desing is … very different from wat we are used to.
But these are the things that comes along with change, we are gonna get used to them. Change is good, it means we are advancing.
u and me both mate, idky but there was something “wrong” about it the ear stud maybe and the mark but thats whatever
Sasha looks great! I like all the little stuff on the Sheet like the handwriting. Also I believe that is the first time we have seen her last name as well.
Indeed, she looks great ! I also love her new hairstyle, really neat. And her last name is great, Hartford (If you pronounce it with british accent, it sounds incredibly good).
Changing the way the comic looks?? …… but… but… I like the way it looks now :<
It’s not all as radical as Sasha’s change (pun!)
Sasha is totally radical! :3
In my constructive opinion, this new appearance conflicts with her personality. She has a very ‘take life as it comes’ attitude and is generally happy, however the extra accessories come across as almost vanity and a [is there a synonym for hardcore that isn't quite as strong? If so it would go here] personality. The mascara really doesn’t help either.
For example. Take the comic “Rhyme Time”, then try to substitute with the new look. The fringe and more defined chest I can see, but the stud, mascara, bangles, thinner waist, just detract from the character who is ‘Sasha’.
Just my two pence =D
I think “punkish” would be a good word.
Whoa, rather significant changes. Looking forward to the others. Does this mean we’ll also finally learn the last names of some of the other pets?
Yep, she’s looking better now. :3
Hmm… something about the style to me screams 80’s. Though I might not know what I’m talking about since that’s technically before my time, however everything from the hair to the jewelry reminds me of outfits and styles worn in various cartoons I used to watch that were set in the 80’s (like the fluppies). I like it, though.
Wow! Very nice!
…
Why does have have the feeling it looks a lot like 80’s and 90’s cartoons? ôo
And why does it looks like the research for your 80’s short story has rubbed off on you? :3
Interesting changes.
I like the changes. I think it would be kind of cool if the characters commented on her new appearance, especially since we haven’t seen her in a while.
That kind of gives a reason for the new accessories, instead of just a style change, plus it would make people like Deadly-Bagel happier–sure she got a makeover, but that doesn’t mean she has to change her personality!
Haha, make me happier? To be perfectly honest I can’t stand piercings, mascara, etc. It comes across as a lack of respect for the body and some self image issues, plus another image perhaps not suitable in this commentary.
That is, however, my biased opinion. People can do what they want and I’m not one to start complaining about free comics, just saying that my perception of this new look conflicts with my perception of her, so unless one of them changes it’s not going to look right to me =P
Oh, I see. I misunderstood. I have to say, I’d never get a piercing myself, so I kind of agree with you there.
Specifying that Sasha’s hip heart is not a cutie mark is as close to a pony reference as we will get, right?
If everyone gets hip symbols I’m running someone over with a car, just sayin’…
Go right ahead, my friend’s foot got run over by a car and he’s perfectly fine.
One can only stand to reason that having his whole body run over will result in the same, right?
…right?
Don’t kid yourself, Rick! That’s a cutie mark!
)
There is nothing wrong with liking ponies (I myself am happily obsessed with them.
yikes! woah woah! what I saw on FA doesn’t look the same! I think it’s great… except, to me anyway, her eyes seem so BIG! which may be on purpose but still… so big. I’m excited and nervous at the same time to see the comic change.
I don’t mind the eyes, those terrible, hearth-piercing eyes, at all.
It kind of sounds like you’re changing all of the characters are? If you are please be careful with Fox
*don’t change Fox*
I noticed on Sasha’s character sheet that you were showing her eye through the “headfluff” that hangs down.
I was wondering, if you had time, if you might consider doing a comparison sketch where it isn’t see-through? I think always think it looks weird when you can see through characters’ hair–I don’t know how others feel about that, but I think it would be nice to at least see what it would look like if it wasn’t transparent.
Just a thought
Head hair in the housepets universe becomes naturally transparent when it obstruct eyesight or other prominent facial features.
I never really noticed it, I guess–probably because most characters don’t have anything obscuring their face. It just stood out to me in the character sheet, and I thought it would be nice to see what it would be like otherwise.
“Not a cutie mark!” LOL XD
Very adorable! I like this style for her. Be interesting to see the others like this.
