Yay update! I wonder how much of this place he actually explored?

Kari’s presumably been exploring the temple since Keene hired him to do so.
Correct me if I’m mistaken, but I thought it was established that you needed a hat to enter the temple in its current state instead of the way Zach saw it when he opened it originally.

Rick is really doing great with shading for this arc.
The shading is definitely looking buff.
Dramatic Camera Angles are great for the Adventurers on the Go, who want to add some Cinematography and Tension to their Adventuring.
I love the shading too!

Look I’m not someone to run out of a hounted houes on holloween. But I draw the line at a REAL hounted spooky temple!
If that was me in there, I’d be doing two things,
One: tell Sabrina that someTHING is following us
Two: do my best to get out of there ALIVE!!
If it was me in there and I saw that thing, I’d scream, “KILL IT WITH FIRE.
Real haunted temples are bad news- there are ANCIENT dead things running around in them!

It’s a temple herring. Later on they’ll encounter a slightly stronger variant that’s blue.

A false lead, eh? I had a pencil like that once that was all broken up inside, and every time I sharpened it the lead broke off. But you don’t want lead in your herrings, you’ll poison yourself.

Most small to medium sized sea mammals, including dolphins and seals but not sea otters, eat herring. I suspect that a river otter would be happy to eat herring, if there were any herring in lakes and rivers, but there aren’t. The marine otter, lontra felina, may eat the occasional herring since herring are often found close inshore… but its diet hasn’t been well studied. Other mustelids, including weasels and ferrets, live a herring-free lifestyle.
