Itsuki’s not new, he appeared in “The Interview” where Mr. Sandwich hired him to work at his auto repair business.

I have my own problem… I NEVER plan conversations in my head, and they always end up either going nowhere, or somewhere I didn’t expect. Because I never know where to expect them to go anyway.

Wonder if Rick will do a “Bring Your Pets to Work Day” Arc. Peanut excitedly sniffing everything while Grape grabs a nap on a carlift.
I think Mr. Sandwich knows better than to bring Peanut and/or Grape to work.

That depends on how well they behaved!
They hold their own leashes (as they have in past comics). Sometimes they even hold each other’s leash. An example of the logic used in this strip that I find fun – they go to someplace like the mall or the zoo that requires them to wear a leash, yet it’s ok if they holding their own.
When do they hold each others? I know in the zoo peanut asks but grape shoots him down
I’m pretty sure there was at least one instance … it was just drawn, not referred to in the text, maybe it only looked like one or the other was holding both leashes.

On the other paw, maybe Grape would allow Peanut to hold her leash since he’s now intitled to a certain amount of “mushyness”

After rereading the “Interview” comics, his last comment does seems a bit out of character in directness, although since almost a year has passed since he was hired, he may ow feel slightly more comfortable dealing closer on a one to one level with his Boss.
