Oh no, this is entirely comprehensible. Some of them even point out their own plot holes as well.
She seems to hold her Orange Soda better then certain corgi’s we’ve seen.
In this case, as the beverage in question was specified, perhaps it would be fitting to use quotation marks around “orange soda.”
I take that back… forgot about the inclusion of orange soda in the last strip.
On stage they drink ginger ale with food coloring.
And how could the drunk bubbles materialize then?
That wasn’t no stunt orange soda or stunt preservatives
Grape’s phenomenal skill and imagination! She’s a consummate professional, able to materialize drunk bubbles on cue!
But can she materialize cartoon swirlies when she plays being knocked down?

I saw a mouse that fat once. I was sexton of my Unitarian Universalist church. I startled it while cleaning the church. I got the impression it was the one getting into the really sugary cookies that we used to give the Sunday school kids.

On another note…
I have absolutely no idea what is happening because I have never heard of nor seen/read this play.
And I still enjoy it.
I kept reading Max’s line as “I’ll get ready for the evening” not “Ending”.
No wonder I was so confused!
So, is Rick going to wrap it up in 8 panels or will he need a double strip on Friday?
