i mean at least two per litter i mean its pretty rare for there to be only one pup…..
From what info I can find, Pommie litters are usually 1-3 pups, however litters of up to 7 pups have been reported on occasion. multiply by 5 litters and you have around ten pups, which is still a big handful as anyone who has raised puppies will attest.
I do believe Rick said in a Q&A that Housepets! pets only have “a few” per litter.
So, it checks out with 1-3?

Sorry to post again so soon, but I finally read the synopsis of the play (honestly, I doubt I’ll ever see that play). Now really looking forward to how this adaptation will be.
Having watched the play recently (it was in our playhouse run last year) I can honestly say that Rick is adapting the story quite humorously.
I can tell that just from the synopsis
But, this scene is new to me <.<
*Imagines the pups* AGH! I need to name them, let’s see Peanut Jr., Strawberry, Eggy, Bacon, and um….. Ham. wait 5 litters? I need to call Jill!
For 5 litters, that comes out to about 30-35 names. That is, assuming there are 6-7 puppies per litter. Naming all of them to go with the sandwich theme could take a LONG while.
Earl: Honey, have you seen the pickles?
Jill: in the fridge, usual place!

Humorously while that is cute, i also thought of Rugrats =P
