This is what I do: make sour cream cheesecake, but replace 8 oz of cream cheese with 4 oz of crumbled feta and 4 oz of crumbled blue cheese and make and use half as much gram cracker crust.
Actually there is. Im not much for cheesecake, but when an Oreo cheesecake lives up to its name by tasting like Oreos with cream cheese or something, yeah, not so good in my opinion. Some may have liked it. I just didn’t.
Peanut and Max, somehow they seem like the perfect accompaniment too each other’s characteristics; in a bromance or platonic friendship kind of way!!!!!!
Also CHEESECAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick if you do not give me cheesecake right now I will use my resources to find your house, and steal it from your fridge. X3
(google is very reliable!)
I’m horribly sorry I have to point that out, but… it’s actually ‘Strudel’, if you mean the pastry, not ‘Streudel’. I must know, since the word is borrowed from German and I’m, well, from Germany.
I’ve actually found that cheesecake is is a partial lie. You see, while it may be cake, there’s something in there that could turn it into a partial lie, which is cream cheese! Does that mean cream cheese is the truth? o.o
despite cheesecake’s name, the cheese is quite the little ingredient to find. should it be exposed, it renders the cheesecake truth. However, should it be cream cheese, then the cream cheese is the lie because it is not a cream, but a cheese, and the cake thereby is an unfortunate malfactor.
Hahahaha! I remember Mum working on Guys and Dolls when I was a kid. Oh the cheesecakes! Cheesecakes forever! (She did all the baking for the plays… for example, 128973461287965479265347152341 apple pies for Sweeny Todd. Lol!)
thats impossable do you know how big that number is if you had all of the bakerys in the world working for 10 years strait they wouldent even make a dent in that number.
According to my calculations, if you made each apple pie a single atom, that many pies would work out to around the weight of a van. (Start with 6.02e23, the number of atoms in a mole, which weighs 1 gram per atomic weight of the atom in question. Say the average atomic weight of a pie atom is between 5 and 10 (mostly hydrogen and carbon, at a 2:1 ratio, some oxygen and nitrogen push it up a bit). Then 6.02e23 pie atoms weigh 5-10 grams. Divide your number (1.29e29) by 6.02e23 ad you get the number of moles we need, about 500k. This makes 2500-5000kg, which is about right for a van.)
Apple atoms are pretty big! Glucose is 180g/mol, starch is at least three times that. I don’t think you could get less than a couple of kilos per mol of pies.
But yeah, in order for each piece to still have anything in common with apples or pies any more than soot or diamonds, you’d have to keep the molecules intact. Really, you’d need enough molecules to make a proportional sample of each type of molecule that adds to the flavor, and some of those are huge (a typical protein is a molecule with thousands of atoms…) and in small enough quantities that to adequately represent them, the total sample size would have to be millions of atoms. This brings us right past freight trains and into the aircraft carrier range.
Tarot’s collar appears to be missing. Also, it’s funny how a cute fluffy dog ends up looking like a doofy hobo with a big beard when you put a paper bag on her head.
And in second Panel, Peanut’s snout alone gives us all the juicy details of his mind. Such as why aren’t these panels any bigger and does it look like I’m trying to kiss Sabrina?
You know, now that I think of it, you’re right: “Hey, there’s 1 more strudel than there is cheesecakes! I win” *customer comes in and eats a strudel* “Er… can we put it off until the next batch is baked?”
Goodness indeed! ^^
alt text (It was only a matter of time before I drew some cheesecake in this comic)
Mmmmmm! Cheesecake.
This looks like cheesecake to me:
http://www.housepetscomic.com/2012/03/07/good-clean-wholesome-fun/
I don’t see it…
i think you mean beefcake not cheesecake
Um, that’s Duchess.
This would actually be closer to cheesecake for this strip:
http://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/07/08/paralysis-of-the-mouth/
cant argue with that one.
and they so wanted to play.
Blueberry cheesecake!
No such thing as a bad flavored cheesecake…. But strawberry is the best
no no no… new york style
This is what I do: make sour cream cheesecake, but replace 8 oz of cream cheese with 4 oz of crumbled feta and 4 oz of crumbled blue cheese and make and use half as much gram cracker crust.
Brain cramp. Brain hurts. Brain… derp.
fetta would be ok but blue cheese what is it a stinky cheesecake?
It doesn’t make it stink, it adds character.
“It adds character”?
They say that about scars too.
Scars don’t make you stink, either.
wrong again its cherry
cheesecake factory has the best vanilla bean is my favorite there.
Actually there is. Im not much for cheesecake, but when an Oreo cheesecake lives up to its name by tasting like Oreos with cream cheese or something, yeah, not so good in my opinion. Some may have liked it. I just didn’t.
id pay to see guys and cheesecake
I’m thinking you just did, in the last panel.
You did see it, rather, and in the last two panels.
(Because I know someone, somewhere is itching to post “you’re wrong!” about the miscount and misphrasing.
)
mmmmmm Cheesecake….
mmmmmm Yummy….
A silly bet indeed.
Shame on you for indulging yourself and drawing that cheesecake Rick…
Darn it Rick! Now my Strawberry Cheesecake craving is coming back!
cheesecake sounds good right about now too.
darn you rick.
Chocolate, pumpkin, or oreo cheesecake sounds really good!
Glass of Ice cold Milk!
Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, cherry, chocolate chip, banana…
I’m hungry now.
One banana, two banana, three banana four…
OREO CHEESECAKE OHMYGOD
Man u gotta love peanut!!!
Nothing wrong with cheesecake now is there?
Dang… That is one fine looking cheesecake. I want some :3 *takes it away!*
I like how Tarot overacts these, she just seems so loud and happy.
When do we get to the part where they sing, “Be a Jedi Tonight”?
Peanut and Max, somehow they seem like the perfect accompaniment too each other’s characteristics; in a bromance or platonic friendship kind of way!!!!!!
Also CHEESECAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick if you do not give me cheesecake right now I will use my resources to find your house, and steal it from your fridge. X3
(google is very reliable!)
Yeah, i love seeing moreso Peanut and Max acting more like they understand each other more. The less misunderstandings between the two, the better. X3
I don’t see the bromance part at all.
Google is reliable??
http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_850.php
CHESECAKE?!?!?!? *dun duun DUN*
Cheesecake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m getting ads for cheesecake instead of webcomics. Cheesecake has incredible ad-fu.
That’s funny. All I’m getting is a Coca-cola ad
I guess the ad server ran outta cheesecake.
It ran out of dessert and gave me the dessert’s dessert?
mine ran out of raspberry jello
You should have kept it topped up. You know there’s always room for more jello.
in case no one noticed…TAROT SMILED! I mean, not her usual polite expression, but a wide,
happy expression.
So adorable!
Peanut keeps being more adorable than usual!
It’s cute to see her getting more involved in the plays <3
It was only a matter of time, but why did it have to be so long? I love cheesecake!
I like cheesecake
I’m horribly sorry I have to point that out, but… it’s actually ‘Strudel’, if you mean the pastry, not ‘Streudel’. I must know, since the word is borrowed from German and I’m, well, from Germany.
Ich bin ein strudel!
Suddenly Im hungry
THE CAKE. IS. A. LIE!!!!!
and by the way, what do you guys do, all race here at exactly 12:00 am every three days and race to comment first?
we wait for strip
we read strip
we love strip
we comment strip
That’s the magic of Housepets!
Hooray for Housepets! xD
Some of us wait all night for it. But its all the same in the end, right?
I have to wait till 1.
So, yes
… I think I have some cheesecake in the fridge.
*checks*
Behold! The fridge has provided me with its bounty! Praise the miracle of the cheesecake!
*noms*
Oh, bless you peanut
Cheese Cake? Sounds nummy.
We’re all out of danish.
Now who will be playing Adelaide and Sarah Brown?
Tarot and Grape of course, who else?
@C-Shock (or ResCoin999, Whatever works)
I’ve actually found that cheesecake is is a partial lie. You see, while it may be cake, there’s something in there that could turn it into a partial lie, which is cream cheese! Does that mean cream cheese is the truth? o.o

thats impossable do you know how big that number is if you had all of the bakerys in the world working for 10 years strait they wouldent even make a dent in that number.
They were very small pies. She used an atomic force microscope to assemble them, and electron beam lithography to bake and slice them.
at that resolution i wonder if it would even still be apple?
If you assembled them *into* an apple, yes.
They’re made of genuine apple atoms!
1.29e29/6.02e23 is around 200k, not 500k. That makes the final weight 1000-2000kg, the weight of a car, not a van. >.<
Apple atoms are pretty big! Glucose is 180g/mol, starch is at least three times that. I don’t think you could get less than a couple of kilos per mol of pies.
So you need to start measuring in freight trains, instead of cars.
Molecules are made of many atoms.
This brings us right past freight trains and into the aircraft carrier range.
is no one else gonna say it? max is in this imaginate yay.
Well… he was in the second one, wasn’t he?
And in the third one too. This is fourth now
i can still be happy hes in it.
hes probably the best fit for sky.
Guys and Cheesecakes!
ZOMG TAROTS FACE FTW!!!!!!!!!
Is this a Cabin Pressure reference? In there they made a wager about how many people would choose cheesecake over strudel!
DON’T HAVE THE CHEESECAKE IT IS POISONED!!
This comic needs a cheesecake tag.
Add bacon on the side, then I’ll get drooling
*groans at the double entendre with the alt text* XDD
Cheeeeeeesecaaaaaaake…*drools*
Maybe they should title the play The Full Monty, cuz it appears to me that Tarot doesn’t actually have her collar on O.o
She’s very fluffy, and she’s wearing a hat.
Hooray! Cheesecake that’s food is my favorite kind of cheesecake.
Tarot’s collar appears to be missing. Also, it’s funny how a cute fluffy dog ends up looking like a doofy hobo with a big beard when you put a paper bag on her head.
Alt text panel three: Peanut: WOULD YOU LIKE THIS CHEESECAKE? WE DON’T WANT IT ANYMORE!
That would be the full Monty Python version.
i dont get it if sibrina is here y is fido not here?
1) Fido is all work and not much fun
2) EMBARRASSMENT RISK. I don’t think he could act really natural with his girlfriend around.
3. Their relationship is a secret.
(Yeh, Peanut and Grape know, and Tarot is Tarot, but Fido doesn’t know they know)
4. They’d need to get a babysitter for Spo!
In addition to the secret relationship thing, even publicly-acknowledged couples don’t spend every waking moment together. = P
And in second Panel, Peanut’s snout alone gives us all the juicy details of his mind. Such as why aren’t these panels any bigger and does it look like I’m trying to kiss Sabrina?
I’ve seen this movie before
Tarot is so cute in the second panel! x3
Having a hard time following, but it doesn’t keep me from being amused. I really need to look up that play now.
I barely get the joke here, but I still like it for some reason! XD
I think the cheesecake:strudel ratio would be much harder to deduce than that of guys:dolls.
You know, now that I think of it, you’re right: “Hey, there’s 1 more strudel than there is cheesecakes! I win” *customer comes in and eats a strudel* “Er… can we put it off until the next batch is baked?”
Lol yay for Cheesecake.
Btw does anyone get curious on how they can see with those bags on there heads?
I’m waiting for the brick joke where they all fall off the “stage” because of the bags.
im sure they lift them up when they have to move around.
Can’t go wrong with cheesecake
Jalapeno cheesecake! Durian cheesecake! Bacon and pimento cheesecake! It’s all good!
