It’s a kids product, though it can be found in adult sizes as a novelty
But these aren’t just your ordinary slippers, but have a lot of extra ankle height.
That’s because the Housepets universe has bipedal puppies!
I wouldn’t go for puppy boots, but maybe a tail and some ears on a hat. Probably have to be tiger related though. Not really into canids. I am more of a felinus fan.

I’m really enjoying the art in this arc so far. The way Grape’s fur stands up is especially good in this strip.

Normally, two housepets walking around holding their own collar don’t count as the “masses”, but since Peanut and Grape ARE the main characters, I can overlook this technicality.

One can appreciate the differences between max and peanut here.
Max can offer Grape the rascal kind of adventure, the one with the adrenaline. Peanut will offer the more joyful fun, the kind of activity only those who really know each other can enjoy.
The good times when Peanut betrayed Grape for a dollar!
