A good thing about the HP universe is that that ‘pesky food chain’ is respected. It adds that touch of realism instead of going disney, where characters live off air and water.
I suspect that it was inspired by Kevin and Kell and “Herd Thinners, Inc” but somehow it seems creepier here.
I agree with Valerio, the realism makes the comic BETTER, not WORSE.
And besides, if it’s tolerated in Tom and Jerry then it should be tolerated in a webcomic (especially since web-comics are harder to get to – no way is any 10-or-younger kids going to be checking this comic out on any kind of regular basis without adult help…)
