Basically, the disk used to flip the other disks caused the disc to bounce out of the pot (where you want the disk to go). Though being squopped usually means your wink lands on top of an enemy wink and is thus a good thing here it seems that somehow his wink landed *under* an enemy wink.
I’m currently thinking, if this isn’t a nice little stab at Bakugan. If it is, major kudos, since I can’t get enough of that series getting the bashing and trashing that it deserves.
Meh, I was thinking more YuGiOh but probably any series that mixes epic battling and tabletop gaming will do

For those that have no idea, you basically scatter a bunch of tiny plastic discs around a cup, and use another disk to try to fling them in.
You can tell they are good because their hair is big.
In the third panel, the green haired dog looks slightly derpy.

He’s a Captain and a slave? I’m confused
I want to feel smart for a moment so I’ll say what i think and leave it alone. I think it’s similar to a pilot on a plane or the captian of a ship. He’s the commander of that space or that object and whatever goes on there but is still technically a “slave” to the company that owns said ship or plane.
