Three. One to realize it needs changing, one to tell the third it needs to be changed, and the third one to try to talk it into changing its mind.

I actually had to think about a good response, and I threw away a few ideas before coming up with that one.
I tried to think of, “How could Sasha misunderstand ‘changing a light bulb’”, and decided she might think changing it’s mind. That was after I decided to break it up into ‘one tells the other’ and ‘one to realize it’, though… I originally had it as ‘two’, and changed it to fit the new joke
Overall, I’m terrible at coming up with witty statements on the spot, but I’m medocre to decent at coming up with them after thinking about it for a while.
Kinda like how I am in math. I suck at doing math fast.
That and you ruined the joke by explaining it

And some how she did talk the bulb into changing it’s mind. And it started working again. o.O
Actually, I think that’s how it’d go with Tarot, or maybe Sabrina.
With Sasha, it finally starts working after she offers to date it for the weekend.

Grape would probably answer. Cats are nocturnal, so she wouldn’t be taking a nap.

i don’t think Peanut would be any good to solve this problem. Grape on the other hand has a broom.

They likely meet off-panel at the GODC Christmas Party but King and Peanut have never interacted storyline-wise.

Duchess and Bino have to know each other, they have some kind of time-share co-minion arrangement with Boris and Yeltsin.
So going to Bino for help with Duchess would be like going to the Penguin for help with Catwoman.

Actually I think it’s probably just after dark, really. King just got home a little late for dinner. For some reason it does feel like it’s the middle of the night but it’s probably only about 7-8PM.

He could have easily done this part as a triple strip I’m just kind of wondering why hes making it separate entries it just makes it very Fillerish at that point.
Not every strip has to involve a huge leap forward in the plot.

Plus Keene’s still stuck at the Zoo, I think? He’s probably the only one with enough of a sense of responsibility to want to help.

I have to wonder where Duchess is. Did she give up the chase (very unlikely). A couple of predictions, though: Either she is lurking just off panel, planning a sneak attack or she has just fallen behind. Perhaps if King hurries, he could make it back home withiout Duchess’ detection, but we all know that that would be no fun…
Or Duchess ‘could’ be waiting for King when he shows up at Grape’s house!

Maybe King has a better chance of avoiding Duchess’s pursuit is to be buried in the ground by Miles’ Cubs. Poke a large straw up for air. Then the following morning King can just dig himself out!
Fido. It would make sense as it would put King in contact with the K9’s again, and fit in his karma/learning thingee.

To be fair, King was willing to accept help from anyone. I don’t think Bino’s ever helped (intentionally, anyway) anyone else in his life. In fact, the only way he’d likely change would be to help Duchess catch King, in order to spite him. Thus, King’s not exactly turning away help.

Wonder how long it will take for him to realize that Duchess got cold and decided to go home and try again later. I could see him going to Grape and saying a crazy girl is chasing him and Grape just look around and say “what girl”.
Either way it would be more likely for him to get help if Peanut opens the door.
Or…King tries Peanut’s Grape’s house on the pet door they installed, but since the raccoon incident, the Sandwiches have installed a lock and therefore rendering King helpless once again.
Does anyone else feel like this Arc is filler? No offense meant rick, I think its hilarious, but it seems like you’ve been telling the same joke for the past few comics O.o
