Enhance! Actually, knowing how some of the computer generated enhancement is done… makes me cry shenanigans a liiiiiiiiiittle too often for me to watch cop shows with anyone else around. Or investigative sitcom episodes. And sometimes Burn Notice.

Given this is text and after the fact… it’s hard to do my reaction justice. But bleeding sonuva **** seriously?! Extrapolating non-existent information from outside the scope of the resolution shouldn’t even be considered as futuristically possible from physical pictures. Uncrop? GAH!!!

A satirical joke is generally… provoked by an actual occurrence and the hyperbole to make it funnier, while highlighting the sarcasm, also makes me twitch a little more violently. Speaking of, I need to go change these bandages.

And those markings look like ancient Akkadian to me.
I agree they look that way from the panel right now. If we are right that gives more weight to the Cosmic Nerds being involved some how, as they are the only ones we know that a connected with that writing. (that I can remember right now anyway)
Plus the old guy who talks in limericks lives near the temple with the ancient Akkadian markings.

He could be bopping around like the Weapon Shops of Isher, but if he is I’m sure you’ll have some explanation for it.

Pete doesn’t really do subtle
The way he tricked grape into releasing him? His manipulations to try to make King his avatar? Sneaking into Heaven and taking King’s soul orb? Pete may not do subtle, or at least doesn’t do it all that well considering his success rate, but he does do sneaky, and sneaky is what this is. The fact this includes Brent, I totally expect Pete to be responsible, at the very least one of the celestial creatures.

I like this new character. Technically, he is not “new”, simply brought back from a sinister shadow. Still, I like my back round characters to have a little depth =)
