It was surprisingly easy to come up with old people jokes. So that’s how newspaper cartoonists do it!
u know wats awesome if u shout “hey father time” someone always say”yeah”or “huh?” or “what?”
Or even better is if you are in a very crowded place and you shout “hey, stupid!” and everyone turns around. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL x3

it actually comes from a person who, when he was in England a scout helped him cross the street. He was so impressed with the boy that he wanted America to have a scouting program. He then became the founder of the Boy Scouts of America.
Did anyone notice that this is still part of the same arc. I thought not all dogs ended with Fridays comic. So maybe this is the climactic ending everyone was looking for.

You should camp in the Allegheny National Forest, but try not to rub ketchup all over your body because that attracts bears.
I was never an outdoorsman. When i was a cub scout, any type of insect freaked me out if it touched me! XDD

Adding to the gag, Wolf Scout is one of the lowest ranks in American scouting.
what is the highest? Im not an American.
In Cub Scouts, the ranks are (in order): Wolf, Bear, and Webelos (a weird name that comes from condensing “we believe in being loyal scouts”)
Boy Scout (BSA) ranks are: Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle wit Eagle Scout being the highest rank you can attain.
interestingly enough, there is actually optional pre- cub scout ranks of Bobcat and Tiger ranks….
Bobcat is below Wolf. There’s also Tiger cubs, but I think that was just to make first graders feel special.
yeah, I never did Tiger or Bobcat. I was just amused that Tiger is mentioning cub scouts when there is the rank of Tiger, even though you are probably right about it’s importance

I ended up running the whole gamut- Tiger to Eagle, something I’m kinda proud of and can actually thank my parents for (since they made start early). Thing is, the entire Cub scout program is entirely optional. It has no bearing in what you do for Boy Scouts, aside from a little bit of prior experience. The only thing you get to show for it is “The Arrow of Light” award- and it’s never really mentioned again. Tiger Scouts I hardly even remember… I did that way back in Kindergarten!
It was all very fun to me, though, going though it.

heh. I never made Eagle scout. I was one badge off or something like that. I wasn’t even interested in the ranks, just the camping and events.

I’m just jealous cuz our “scouting” was disbanded long ago cuz it was a communist thing back in the day.
Im so glad im an eagle scout, it required tons of my time and effort. Though the rewards and chances i have now was freaking worth it!
As for the comment of the comic; I have to say Tiger need a large serving of humble pie. I say, lol I wouldn’t surprised if there was something backfiring him for this. XD Oh Karma, U so funny. lol
when I was in Cub scouts, I qualified for bear 4 times and then finally sneaked into the Webelos test. passed it and got my patch there, but had to give it back when the scoutleader found out I disobeyed him.

Oops sorry… Thought they were the same thing. Only made it to wolf scout then quit due to lack of understanding of the ranking system was. (I took things very literally as a child, so sue me.)

webelos is a transition rank. when a cub scout becomes a boy scout.

To be honest, I’ve always had trouble considering these breeds of dogs as anything else than “dignifiedly old (and Scottish).”

It depends on what time zone you are in. Where Rick is, he updates at midnight on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but depending on where you are it’ll obviously come at different times. I get them @ 10PM the night before!
