I seriously doubt she can sneak the watch off him while “snuggling” maybe she’ll just say how nice it is and ask for it as a present? He might go for that, I don’t think he actually cares about it anyhow.

This is unlikely, but she may also try to do a switch with a fake watch (which she’d have hidden in her collar) so Bino wouldn’t notice. Of course this could end up with a mix up of watches where even she can’t tell which is which (uh oh…)

its pretty rare to see both Bino and Fido in the same frame- awesome! and I love Bino expression on frame 3-4.
Sasha, the fact that you used a cue card makes you even more awesome, and shows how much Bino underestimates her, I think.
Also, I find it really interesting that Bino now has the watch as his collar tag. I guess he really is a watchdog now! Theme naming and all.

Am I alone in thinking the cue card is a deliberate thing to *make* her look harmless and stupid? She’s had moments of striking clarity and intelligence before after all. I’m of the opinion that she’s so smart that acting that way gets boring, and she’s found playing around as the ditz is more interesting and gets more friends…
hence, sneaky plans can be made to work more easily with the application of “omg, sasha is so dumb she needs a cue card to flirt with me… but, eh, she’s cute, i’ll take the bait”
we’ll probably never know.
I may agree with you, though. Anyone who can compose a complex piano piece in their head having (i assume) never played before has smarts. My brother is learning to compose music and it is not easy.
It’s probably more likely that shje’s less “dumb” and more “forgetful” or at least easily distracted (hence why King gave her the card, as even if she is smart, how would HE know that?).
In addition to the piano example by Viath she also had those pre-written scripts shown during that dog commercial she starred in (the one done by that ferret – Rock I think his name was)
oh yes, I forgot to mention that she could also simply have a one-track mind, hence her apparant inability to see things from anothers perspective.

I would like to point out something interesting that I just noticed:

I think Bino’s collar is one of few (if any) collars that has been through multiple changes. And I’m not referring to the fact that he’s now using the watch as his tag; I mean the design changes in general, as well as the inversions of colour positions. Is there any specific reason for this, or is it just something that’s happened progressively and unconsciously?
This may seem obvious….but his collar changed because he starred in “The arc specifically about being naked” and a huge ordeal we never got to see. He loses his collar and doesnt get it back and gets a new one. btw i’d still like to hear the real story on that!

As others have said in previous comments, the alt-text refers to the phrase “my dogs are barking,” meaning “my feet hurt.” Additionally, “that pink thing” is Sasha’s umbrella.
