I can just imagine you asking “How important is it that your head stay attached to your neck?” to customers. Of course, I have no idea what you look like or how you are in RL, but that just makes it funnier.
Actually, that reminds me of Jalyss from Faulty Logic, and how she deals with customers. Though that’s in an entirely different context…
Well he knows were it is now so it shouldn’t be that hard to get it. Of course however in order to keep the arc going so one (a feral most likely) is going to have taken it. It just can’t be that simple.
Not to Down play you, however long long ago, I learned something from Grape.
You have to be playing the game, In order to win or lose the game, and since the game is only a game where you can lose. Enjoy your losses.
*Peacesign to Rick* Mah Boi
Everytime you win the game, the universe collapses and renews itself at the exact moment you won the game. Kind of like a hyperbolic function which tends to 0 but projects values greater than and less than 0 but never 0.
So King has to wait for someone from heaven (Pete) to bring it back and I’m guessing Pete won’t bring it back until King accepts his role being Pete’s avatar. This is working surprisingly well for Pete (minus the whole being beaten up by a girls part).
well considering that Pete has been most likely arrested for what he tried to do I really doubt they would send him. Plus I believe that getting King as an Avatar in such a way would break the rules of the U&U game because it would basically be a choice between die or be an Avatar. I doubt Kitsune would allow something like that.
It’s most likely going to be Cerberus that comes to get it or someone we haven’t seen yet.
Maybe Tarot (I mean the spirit dragon)? Perhaps that’s why Sabrina was sent to King? Maybe she’s already trying to get back his fate..
Oh well, we’ll find out on Wednesday XD
I doubt it but I guess its possible. The only thing is that Sabrina would have just said the Spirit Dragon was going to return it instead of some one from Heaven.
I’m inclined to agree with Rick’s obvious question of ‘why’ here, if only because it seems like they’d do everything in their power to keep Pete away from King’s fate. But as we are re-introducing King into the (metaphorical) U&U game, I wonder if his position as Pete’s pawn will be re-established, or whether he truly will adopt the position of ‘king’ in the cosmic chess game of U&U.
This arc is, so far, quite high on my favourites. It introduces philosophical concepts that I spent much time in my degree pondering, but never actually having the chance to write on. There’s also the fact that we’re returning to a buried story arc that has a lot of potential. It’s also aiding in the fleshing-out of (what I feel is) one of the more border-lined characters from the arc (the noticeable development having begun only in recent months).
that’s probably what will happen to cement king as a permanent character or rick will do a total flip and king will choose to be human again, but that probably would tick off all the king fans, but it’s up to him. WE SHALL SEE BY THE END OF THIS ARC mhmmm
I’ve wanted to propose a “Take the Third Option” theory of allowing Joel to be restored on the condition that he always his personality to be split and accept King as his dog. Would be nice to have a canine companion who knows everything you know…until it would start to get creepy.
I like that idea, but there’s still the problem that Human Joel is an “escaped” wanted fugitive. The moment that his best friend Fox sees him will be the moment that things will become creepy.
Fox. King! What’s your relation to that dognapper?
King: Oh Fox, nothing big. I’m just part of his soul that was separated from him after somebody tried to steal our fate from Heavens. This somebody, by the way, is also the guy who turned me into a dog in the first place so that, the big nerd he is, he could actively start playing the biggest game of D&D ever.
[beat]
Fox: You’re pulling my leg, aren’t you?
@Argent
What I’m imagining right now is King being all Vulcan-like, with an emotional detachment, and Joel the unstable, emotional psycho that needs to be put in a mental ward.
Again, that’s just what my imagination is coming up with. Not necessarily how I think that would turn out.
@FuRry321
OK so this has nothing to do with this comic( although heh, poor King, Cens’d ) what the heck is your avatar from? The comics name i mean. I used to read that comic, but I blanked on the name… which sucks because it was pretty much the most awesome thing ever.
Anywho, this whole turn of events is hilarious, especially when combined with that face in panel 3.
Just priceless.
Lemme get my point in here. First off, as much as I like King, I have to say no to this. First off, Joel never wanted to be a dog in the first place. Sure his disposition may have changed (as for how much, we don’t know). However, King right now, is entirely out of balance. In order for him to at least be partially in the right, he has to: a) make it right by Fox if he truly considers him a friend. And b) accept the consequences of his human actions and face whatever is going to happen him. Just my two cents.
Well it was apparently going to be “Time Served” – but now, thanks to Pete’s meddling, he’s apparently considered an escapee – unless, perhaps, Pete left behind a fake body or something, which would REALLY complicate his life.
That SO sounds like something coyote would do if he were actually to catch Road Runner (course it’s more likely that when he does catch him/her, he’ll just end up osing him/her again)
If you’re talking about shipping he (like all the characters) gets it. It’s just that it gets real creepy when you realize King’s still got some human in that corgi body.
I wonder how many times you have made your viewers loose “the game” as mentioned in the earlier story arcs instead of the original intention of referring to the game that the celestians are playing.
so many times but it doesn’t help when people make me lose by commenting also
I love Kings face in the last panel who else wants to throw a cheese ball in it
Cuzco: (waving hand) “Send me, send me, I can talk to animals!”
Great Kitsune: (facepaw) “Um, do we have to go over this again?”
Cuzco: (small voice) “Oh, right, nevermind.”
Okay, so let me see if I understand this correctly.
Pete stole Joel’s fate so that he would force King to choose between being a Dog or Human, but since it’s lost now, Pete had lost his bargaining chip to turn Joel into his pawn. Now King will either have to find it (again) or make the ultimate decision to be the human he was or be who his body is now.
Do I have all that straight Rick or is there something else in this cosmic plot that Karma seems to keep biting Joel/King in the tushie with?
I think they’re misinterpreting Sabrina’s dialogue about accepting or rejecting his dog-ness, despite that she then says that’s completely unrelated to what she’s saying.
I thought that Sabrina was pointing out that she is saying his soul is in limbo while she had already said most of it is actually in heaven while part is on earth, meaning that none of his soul is actually in limbo.
“Where did people get the idea that the watch can turn him back? ”
I didn’t say that. Frankly the whole soul in Limbo thing is throwing me off. Pete has the power to turn him human again (¿maybe¿), but with Joel’s fate in his hands then he will have that power over him.
(Ps. What is Sabrina saying with the whole Limbo thing? Is he not allowed to “be judged” until they determine if he human or a dog or something? I’m confuzzled.) (@_@) (I know that it’s unrelated, but it’s still on my mind.)
You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense.
Of course, you can find some meaning. My translation to the 8:04 AM post:
Have they ever gone so far, as they decided, as to leave? What are you going to do about it? ’Change your appearance?
Somehow I knew King would have to make that choice during this arc. Now let’s see if him choosing “King” as his identity results in the fate watch losing any control over him…
yes to this^ I agree I kept staring at this pick I think this is the biggest we have ever seen someones mouth get in this comment side from Peanut playing fetch
*whoomp* (King is hit in the mouth with a snowball)
King: (splutter splort) What the [censored] was that?
Sabrina: Oh dear. The cosmic horror is starting early.
Well, given what he’s been facing since first showing up in the comic, I can’t say I blame him too strongly for letting fly with “naughty” words now and then. Particularly since he’s not just swearing up a storm at any and everything, but when the proverbial camel spine breaking straw is dropped (or at least as far as we’ve seen, anyway).
So: Panels one and two are basically just confirming things we already know. Panels three and four indicate that:
Having a chunk of Joel / King’s soul gone missing could lead to something nasty happening – but there are no details as to what or how. Joel / King might need to keep the “watch” on his person to avoid the problem, or he might need to break it and absorb it, or simply having it manifested in the physical world might put him in danger somehow regardless of where it is.
That doesn’t seem likely to actually be immediately fatal or even especially disastrous though (and so it probably isn’t the cosmic-level-horror news). We know that the Great Kitsune was observing Pete to some extent – and he does have that policy of benevolence. If Pete’s action (or discarding the watch) was going to result in some horrific and permanent doom for Joel / King, it seems likely that the Great Kitsune would at least have told him.
It will require a higher-order being to take that chunk of Joel / King’s soul back to heaven. That’s not too surprising if it has an affinity for him sufficient to bring it straight to him when it evidently could have fallen into any of many other dimensions. Taking it away would likely require fighting against that affinity, and it seems to be fairly strong.
Finally, we know that Joel / King has a choice to make at some point which will affect the status of his soul – apparently with respect to his species. That’s not really news, and whether or not that will actually change his physical situation in any way is undetermined. He may just be getting a choice of which species he gets to identify with after he’s dead, or a psychological choice between making the best of being a dog or rejecting it bitterly, or a choice of which lifespan he gets, or whether or not he’s going to play the game, or it might be a choice of physical form.
Perhaps there shall be something to start narrowing things down Wednesday.
Well, if the watch is breakable, and breaking it is bad, (as I tongue-in-cheek suggested last time,) having it in the physical world is indeed a danger unto him regardless of where it is
i dunno the orb fell from that big building and then all the way from heaven, unless it lost any of it’s durability in the transformation, which seems unlikely, i think it would take an un-comprehensible amount of force to break it, but may very easily be manipulated by the owner of it.
kinda like an Excalibur thing, anyone who tries cannot even get it to budge but the right person can slide it out like it was stuck in a vat of lard.
No – but that is just an example. At the moment we have no information on what a “fate” might be vulnerable to save that it seems resistant to being dropped. For all we know at the moment, Joel / King’s decision to discard it was enough to start it crumbling away.
well when it fell it bounced (almost) harmlessly off of kings head so it couldn’t be falling to fast at that point so force may still be an option to break it
Gaboris naivity rage count #1: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! D:< (Sorry 'bout that my bad.)
Oh King finally someone with the right attitude towards the whole PG system. I'm startin to like him more. XD
Piece of fine machienry… of course it's a watch and not a metronome… It never makes sense how celestial simbolism works… at least for me. (I DO NOT doubt that it works, so don' get mad.) :p
So it all comes down to this. I was expecting a Captain Obvious joke here. I’m still wondering if Peanut and King will ever cross swords later on. He IS the main character after all.
i don’t think there really is a main character in this comic, certain characters are more prominent than others but the comic doesn’t focus on one individual character except within Arcs.
Maybe we’ll end up with both. It could happen. Pete’s not allowed to do crazy time stuff, but that doesn’t mean King can’t go “I wish it had never happened.”
*bloop* (sound of the timeline fracturing itself and healing again)
King: “Hey, nothing happened!”
Sabrina: “You sure about that? Hey, look, your owner’s come to pick you up!”
King: “What? No… not Pete! I never agreed…”
(car pulls up)
Joel (opening car door): “Hey boy, get in.”
King: (fx: head explodes)
Greatest thing of note, or maybe not, is that the back of their mouthes, when they are yelling or some-sort, always looks like some deformed heart, or Pacman .
That would be the uvula- you have one too.
Cartoons exaggerate their visibility, though, which kind of makes sense considering they also exaggerate the size of characters’ mouths.
Okay guys, is it just me that thinks King transforming back into Joel would be good?
I mean, we all love King, he is one of the cutest dogs in the story and a very funny one (because everything goes wrong with him).
But, at least for me, an very valid possibility would be to King turn back into Joel and then become Sasha’s new owner. Even though he was a jerk once, now he understands better how dog feels and he understands what it is to have an abusive owner (Pete). Since he and Sasha had shared that night in the streets together, I think they would have a perfect pet/owner relationship.
It would fit greatly: Sasha wouldn’t be cheating Bino with yet someone else, we would resolve her problems with her “Dad”, King could become a productive member of the society, and Pete would have to find someone else to be his Avatar.
Like most people here I do like King a lot, but I just think that this would definitely make a better plot (not that it matters, for what I know Rick has always brought about the inexpectable (my dictionary said that word exists) and made gold out of it).
By the way, in case you read this Rick, I’ve been wondering. Do you have any plans on posting the second part of “All the men’s king” soon? I really liked your writing and I am really looking forward to see what happens next there.
Just because King knows Sasha sort of well means that he would automatically go and attempt to take her from her current father’s hands. Maybe your reading too much into things?
Also, so far, Sasha’s dad is guilty of only two things, being aloof towards her and failing to remember to let her in on a cold night. That’s it. That does not in any way state that he’s the ‘evil human’ so many readers are so quick to jump on.
Okay. Translation time.
Panel 1: the ball is now a watch
Panel 2: but it looks like you already knew that
Panel 3: Yes, it is that bad. Not like it wasn’t bad before, you know, you still not deciding whether you like being a dog or not.
Panel 4: Of course, that doesn’t mean we’re playing around
Good translation Frank. That was probably one of the best ways to summarize what she said. I feel like there’s a different comic I was reading the other day that I actually didn’t understand. If I figure out what one I may need to borrow your translator skills.
Sabrina: “Actually, they don’t play Limbo much. No point when you can change size. Twister, now, that can be challenging. Watch out for Kali. She cheats.”
Sorry, half alseep thought it was comment about another character in comic, though chain multi-apendege in question can still work, as has been nooted. =P
Now I’m just plain curious: what inspired the influx of Sabrina involvement? Don’t get me wrong; I love that your fleshing out her character more and that she’s becoming integral to the lives of more pets than just Fido. I am just maddeningly curious as to whether there is any alternative reasoning behind this.
…Come to think of it, we never have seen a Fido-Sabrina arc. I presume that we are avoiding this because of the very un-PG discussions that would spawn in the comments, or is there another reason?
Da(r)n my questions D:
On a more comment-y-ish note, I love how King has the mouth the size of a watermelon in the last panel. I wonder if he’ll wake up the pack with his bellowing…
On a curious note brought about by remembering the arc “The Game”, we could argue that Peanut is always playing the game as Tarot’s boyfriend. I know it’s not the game we’re all thinking of (and losing), but when we think about the game in this manner…I must wonder. Peanut is always playing the game, even if he never realizes it.
I love double-meanings! Even if they`re brought about by over-analysis…
This is might be a bad time, I mean king is my favorite character and all and I’d hate to interrupt one of his arcs, but did anyone notice Res disappeared and never came back? I literally woke up at three in the morning and thought this. Is this sort of thing normal because it happens to me a lot? Maybe it’s because King was woken up so late? Anyway love where this is going, keep it up Rick.
Res is more than likely going to be “in reference” for awhile since he’s a important backstory character. I’m sure you’ll see him someday, but for the most part, he’s most likely going to be in reference.
And i’m a trooper when it’s late at the night. If noone’s answered at that time, i just casually go and open the door. no nitpicking XD

i’d say 40% non-pg x3
Guys, these comments aren’t even related to the rules. Do not piggyback off this comment if you don’t want your posts deleted.
What if they’re saying King is breaking the rules?
Yeah, that’s what I really meant. I didn’t intend to break any rules, so I’m sorry about that. Peace
As I stated in a previous post… the rules block should be permanently affixed to the site page just above the comments block… not an actual comment. in the comment block. Would also equal less work on you moderators in th elong run.
As I replied to that, people don’t read the text posted with comics, so this is where you’ll find the rules.
Might I suggest adding a “no commenting on the rules” rule? That way you can simply delete the rules comment after the comments close.
Of course, a comment in reply to the rules asking a question about a rule should still be allowed
Hmm… We could have a no making rules rule. Or perhaps a ‘Not-rule’ rule making rule rule…
And so it begins.
Phase Two: The Chase.
This is why I love Sabrina. *laughs hysterically*
She gives the best ultimatum’s, non?
Indeed, she does.
And she’s so cute too, hihi :3
Sadly though Jokke she has a boyfriend :p
yep..and Fido is one lucky dog
Agreed.
You love Sabrina because she’s making absolutely no sense at all?
Of course!
Obviously
Naturally!
In this strip, Sabrina reminds me of myself when I’m dealing with customers.
o_O
I can just imagine you asking “How important is it that your head stay attached to your neck?” to customers. Of course, I have no idea what you look like or how you are in RL, but that just makes it funnier.

Alt Text: Or the game Limbo, which is another thing entirely, entirely
I would totally love to see a Limbo parody in Housepets
That. Would be. AWESOME.
“Limbo” being the game, the movie, the song…?
All of the above.
The Game.
which everyone here just lost. including me.
Any time is trollface time.
What’s the game?
Well played Chaplin, Well played.

Oh yes.
Yes! jot down another one on the “feral gets it” betting pool!
One of the raccoons, most likely.
Ah, so we have an agreement
Just a speculation, if it’s a feral it’s likely to be a raccoon or maybe a possum.
Or maybe some of the mice.
BROOM TO YOUR FACE!
Raccoons: “Cheese it!”
King: (running after them) “Bark! Bark! Bark bark!”
(pause for doubletake)
King: “Why am I barking?”
It’s shinny! Either a raccoon or a ferret will get it.
I love their expressions. X3
also: alt text:Or the game limbo, which is another thing entirely, entirely
i agree sabrina panel 3 is awesome
even if i don’t understand what the expression on her face means
agreed..we don’t see much characters with their ears back for an xpression
Let the games..BEGIN!
Gosh Cens’d it Sabrina! Stop scaring King! XD
Wait…does that mean that sabrina knows king is actually joel?
I would assume Tarot told Sabrina since Sabrina knows about the game.
Last time he trusts that charming young woman with a secret.
Considering that she knew it before he said one word to her, I don’t really think his trust is all that big a factor…
sabrina probably knows from tarot, who we know for a fact knows
I would have been surprised if she didn’t.
this….this can’t be good. Didn’t he throw it in trash/recycling bin?
yes he did
Go back a few comics to see that King threw the watch in a dumpster.
So King has to wait for someone from heaven (Pete) to bring it back and I’m guessing Pete won’t bring it back until King accepts his role being Pete’s avatar. This is working surprisingly well for Pete (minus the whole being beaten up by a girls part).

I doubt it but I guess its possible. The only thing is that Sabrina would have just said the Spirit Dragon was going to return it instead of some one from Heaven.
. . . why would heaven send Pete back for it?
as punishment?
Maybe heaven’s feeling psychotic today.
perhaps, but it would be a fitting punishment, no?
making him retrieve the very thing he was trying to steal
But then he’d have it!
Unless the terms are “go find it…. WITH CERB”
Isn’t heaven normally pretty neutral on emotions?
you say that as if there is something to compare it to
Plot twist?
I’m inclined to agree with Rick’s obvious question of ‘why’ here, if only because it seems like they’d do everything in their power to keep Pete away from King’s fate. I thought King WANTED to be human again
Right, because his human life was SOOO good right?
In the past, King’s desire to regain his former status has been well documented.
Additionally, there’s no need to be condescending.
How….was that condescending? Unless you’re putting a tone on my voice that I didn’t.
Lemme get my point in here. First off, as much as I like King, I have to say no to this. First off, Joel never wanted to be a dog in the first place. Misery and conflict is funny…. to other people. We want that coyote to get the Road Runner, but if he did, then what?
He holds up a sign that says “All right wise guy, now what do I do with him?”
That SO sounds like something coyote would do if he were actually to catch Road Runner (course it’s more likely that when he does catch him/her, he’ll just end up osing him/her again)
I’m dead serious. It actually happened:

You’re in Alabama? How hard was the hurricane over there? Bama was my bro’s old college ground…
It was tornadoes, not a hurricane.
there’s an Alabama recover fund at my school, i donated hope it helps rick!
Hey! I just realized! Kings need queens, right?! That would make for a great storyline.

So who would Heaven send down? Manticore? Kappa? Bunyip? Half the fun of webcomics is what’s coming out next?
Send down Billy Mays.
Nope. Cuzco. From ‘The Pink Panther’. Most likely. (if this were the case)
Or Cuzco from “The Emperor’s New Groove”.
Cuzco: (waving hand) “Send me, send me, I can talk to animals!”
Great Kitsune: (facepaw) “Um, do we have to go over this again?”

Did he sound afraid? He didn’t sound afraid to me. Overeager, perhaps. Forgetting that everyone can talk to animals, perhaps. Afraid? Nah.
Chuck Norris would be able to find it without fail.. too bad heaven is too afraid to ask…
I’m going to guess it’s going to be someone completely normal-looking… like Charlie Barkin
Jiminy Cricket. Who is expecting a fine gold thread, and now is faced with returning to heaven with a watch bigger than he is.
Do I have all that straight Rick or is there something else in this cosmic plot that Karma seems to keep biting Joel/King in the tushie with?
that pretty much sums it up.
Your mind has been RICK rolled. Get it? But yeah, I think your right, or know about as much as me
Where did people get the idea that the watch can turn him back? I don’t recall ever expositing that
I think they’re misinterpreting Sabrina’s dialogue about accepting or rejecting his dog-ness, despite that she then says that’s completely unrelated to what she’s saying.
Nobody has any idea what you did say, because Sabrina’s exposition is so confused here that it could mean anything.
it needs more cowbell, certainly
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
what is this, don’t even know.
Argent, I….

Of course, you can find some meaning. My translation to the 8:04 AM post:
Have they ever gone so far, as they decided, as to leave? What are you going to do about it? ’Change your appearance?
i’ve read a lot of knowyourmeme.
meh, has explanations for means and doesn’t afraid of anything
*memes
oh god, how did this get here i’m not good with computers
Called it.
Somehow I knew King would have to make that choice during this arc. Now let’s see if him choosing “King” as his identity results in the fate watch losing any control over him…
1. That choice is unrelated to the current situation, per Sabrina in the fourth panel.
2. Who can say whether he would choose to remain as King?
1. Sabrina’s line was somewhat unclear it seems.
2. That was sorta my pet theory/Wild Mass Guess.
Frame 4: “On the bright side, your tonsils look fine.”
yes to this^ I agree I kept staring at this pick I think this is the biggest we have ever seen someones mouth get in this comment side from Peanut playing fetch
Next strip:
*whoomp* (King is hit in the mouth with a snowball)
King: (splutter splort) What the [censored] was that?
Sabrina: Oh dear. The cosmic horror is starting early.
Win.
Anyone else notice Sabrina implies this kind of thing is a recurring issue for heaven? How many of these have they lost?
“what day is this?”
King seriously has the best expressions I’ve seen. Cute, adorable, and completely petrified at the same time.
I seriously look forward to this arc. King, you are my favourite character, alongside Fox and Miles.
Absolutely agreed with ya about King
yep..King’s quite a character
Speaking of King petrified, cute and adorable… *points to ur avatar*
hmm could that be a coincidence … probably not
but still king is amazing
King likes to swear alot…this is like the 3rd or 4th time
Well, given what he’s been facing since first showing up in the comic, I can’t say I blame him too strongly for letting fly with “naughty” words now and then. Particularly since he’s not just swearing up a storm at any and everything, but when the proverbial camel spine breaking straw is dropped (or at least as far as we’ve seen, anyway).
He seems to be the only one capable of it though.
i doubt the pets have a grasp on swear words or their meaning.
Sasha might have some understanding of them as words people yell when they’re really mad, seeing as how her dad is a jerk.
true, and you as seen here so can sasha, but she’s aware of all that metaphysical stuff like tarot is so it doesn’t surprise me
Sabrina
derp. yea sabrina XD
Normally things get a little better right after he does it though (the night with Sasha when he realized he could change, Fox coming to his rescue)
So… much… BSOD!
king is so cute!
That’s one way to keep it from rusting.
Derp
you make the best points ever.
Well, it might just take the right force or effect. Iron’s hard to crush, but the right acids will eat through it fairly quickly.
Ah well. We must await more information I suppose.
the orb isn’t made of iron though
No – but that is just an example. At the moment we have no information on what a “fate” might be vulnerable to save that it seems resistant to being dropped. For all we know at the moment, Joel / King’s decision to discard it was enough to start it crumbling away.
well when it fell it bounced (almost) harmlessly off of kings head so it couldn’t be falling to fast at that point so force may still be an option to break it
wow epic
Gaboris naivity rage count #1: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! D:< (Sorry 'bout that my bad.)
Oh King finally someone with the right attitude towards the whole PG system. I'm startin to like him more. XD
Piece of fine machienry… of course it's a watch and not a metronome… It never makes sense how celestial simbolism works… at least for me. (I DO NOT doubt that it works, so don' get mad.) :p
Rage Much? D:
So it all comes down to this. I was expecting a Captain Obvious joke here. I’m still wondering if Peanut and King will ever cross swords later on. He IS the main character after all.
i don’t think there really is a main character in this comic, certain characters are more prominent than others but the comic doesn’t focus on one individual character except within Arcs.
Quick run back to the dumpster (in heavy rain) ensues.
impromptu wet fur contest.
But it’s not the wettest Sabrina will ever get! Unless this is when she nearly drowns.
Aha! true! very true indeed! i almost forgot about that XD i wonder if that prediction will ever come to fruition or if it was just a one-off
I wouldn’t blow off Tarots prediction so easily….
So long as it’s not in the dumpster. That would be icky.
perish the thought.
No, it’s only been a year from the summer park arc. So she has two more years before she nearly drowns.
Assuming time is 1:1 earth-time.
we had this discussion a few comic ago didn’t we? i’m getting deja vu.
i’m not sure what the time ratio is.
Something about the watch oddly reminds me of All Dogs go to Heaven. XD
Look at the arc title in the list below the calendar on the right. That’s not an accident.
The New inking style is working out VERY well for this arc.
Wait, King isn’t accepting of being a human or a dog, even though he’s tried to get Tarot’s help before? Uh. I r confuzzled now.
“help” isn’t the word I would use
http://www.housepetscomic.com/2010/06/28/that-would-be-weird/
I know this is weird, but I find that diagram in the first panel cute.
Also, King’s gone the way of Princess Grape in panel 4. XD (From the Pridelands arc with Tarot’s Mind-holodeck)
I just hope King stays as King after all is said and done. I love that corgi!
Yes to this^ one legendary cookie for you
Split personalities, telling you.
So, Joel with a crown would work for you?
LOL when you make your characters with HUGE mouths it “kills” me LMAO
Of course, they’re mouths have always been this huge, they’ve just been closed!
The Game, more complex and confusing then the whole heaven, fate, etc. thing d:
i like sabrina’s face in the third panel
m2,maby that’s her serious face ;3
yup X3
King rules. Best character in this comic.
Wow, the wolves ARE heavy sleepers, with King shouting so loudly like this…
Lesson: Finders KEEPERS is real, or else you will be decapitated. and possibly have your species changed.
King looks like he’s gonna go insane o.O
THere’s no safe way to say this. King you’re
fireddoomed…Greatest thing of note, or maybe not, is that the back of their mouthes, when they are yelling or some-sort, always looks like some deformed heart, or Pacman .
That would be the uvula- you have one too.
Cartoons exaggerate their visibility, though, which kind of makes sense considering they also exaggerate the size of characters’ mouths.
I knew this I just felt like saying what I thought
Mod Edit: Removed Creepy Element
Correction:
*All the King’s Men”
actually, Rick let forum goers compete to write the end of it. look on the forums for updates related to when it will be posted.
You can find more information about the contest [here]. When a winner is announced, it’ll probably be in that thread.
Your ki8nda overlooking the fact that Sasha is still loyal to her “Dad” even if he does abuse her… a new owner won’t mean she’ll be happier…
OMG!!! I DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING SHE IS SAYING!!! IT’S SO CONFUSING!!!!!
Well, in my case, a good night’s sleep and reading all the comments
Sabrina: “Actually, they don’t play Limbo much. No point when you can change size. Twister, now, that can be challenging. Watch out for Kali. She cheats.”
What about Anasi?
“Spinarets on Yellow? Again?”
Or Shiva?
I don’t know about cheating, but could get confusing.
“Tail on green…no not that tail…no no the other one….no number 4!”
Sorry, half alseep thought it was comment about another character in comic, though chain multi-apendege in question can still work, as has been nooted. =P
They just have to add a few extra squares and/or colors to deal with extra body parts.
4th eyestalk on cyan
Sabrina is Tarot’s roommate. She’s also psychic and knows about Spirit Dragon. It’s safe to assume that she knows about the U&U game as well.
A Fido-Sabrina arc is in the works.
Hahaha! Irony:1; King:0
3rd panel is absolutely cuuute O_O
Yeah, I like that panel but I love the 4th panel.
yeah It kills me when Rick draws the big mouths LOL
On a curious note brought about by remembering the arc “The Game”, we could argue that Peanut is always playing the game as Tarot’s boyfriend. I know it’s not the game we’re all thinking of (and losing), but when we think about the game in this manner…I must wonder. Peanut is always playing the game, even if he never realizes it.
I love double-meanings! Even if they`re brought about by over-analysis…
Over-analysis is always good!
Besides, it might be more as the Spirit Dragon’s boyfriend than Tarot’s…
I still call time modifications and, maybe, a paradox! Or just King having a rough night looking out for that watch
That, my friend, is what Hitchcok called icebox logic
excellent use of a misspelling to avoid the filter catching his name.
Thanks man and I’m glad I’m not alone in that department.
I just realized how interesting (And Funny.) this is going to turn out… I just hope that my assumeptions aren’t correct.
Care to share what those assumptions are?
I honestly have a small feeling that this arc is going to lead to King turning back to Joel… Just saying you know.
Allamaraine, count to four,
Allamaraine, then three more,
Allamaraine, if you can see,
Allamaraine, you’ll come with me…
…move along home.
Geez, what’s with all these Homestar references?
Is King crying again? What a crybaby
Poor king.
