my speculation is Peanut was just itchy and just happened to hear the commotion during that time he took the collar off to scratch it.

1. “Peanut’s tarot-dates date grapes”: Peanut owns a series of tarot cards which tell you when grapes will go bad
2. “Peanuts-Tarot Dates, dates, grapes”: A peanut company that also sells dates (a fruit from a palm tree) and grapes
3. “Peanut-Tarot-dates date Grape”: When Peanut and Tarot go out on a date, this “date”, despite being an abstract concept, manages to ask Grape to go out on a date with it.
There’s probably more, but that’s the ones I could think of. Again, none of them sounds like what you intended

Yes; Peanut dates Tarot, and Grape dates a cat named Maxwell. Grape knows that Peanut has a crush on her, and Peanut knows that Grapes knows that he has a crush on her. Grape said that she isn’t interested in dogs, so Peanut and Grape don’t secretly date. Yayz for the longest comment I’ve ever written.

Tarot and Dragon are separate people Dragon is not controlling Tarot that would be against the game rules. Most of the time anyway. I like how Bino is like.. the only dog who has issues with being collarless.
Bino seems to be the only one so far (and probably Grape) that thinks like a human in terms of being naked. In Housepets, a pet without his collar is considered naked, but it looks like some pets might consider it something like the human version of being naked without clothes while others really don’t see what the big deal is considering like real pets they walk around with no clothes on. Take Peanut for example.
I think Grape was more concerned that she was naked in a strange place where she might be mistaken for a feral…
Ah but Grape was a cat.
Maybe for cats, being feral is considered bad, but for dogs, being a feral gives them celebrity status?
Grape seems more aware of cause-and-effect than Peanut.
Yeah that’s what I meant. What we’ve seen Bino is the only one making a big deal out of it. In this arc Rex and Fox have already said it’s nothing to be ashamed of but Bino thinks otherwise. Peer pressure most probably.
And if I recall correctly, Grape only freaked out about it because, like Stonecutter said, she has abandonment issues. She was a stray after all.
All the more reason though she might be taking after the humans more =P
Not saying she’s thinking like Bino though in terms of nakedness since she even goes into Earl’s shower at one point just to satisfy her curiosoty (lawls =3) but she may think alot like a human in terms of sensitivity since it was humans that adopted her.
Bino having a problem with it probably has something to do with him thinking his neck is either too small or so big that it makes everyone nervous so he doesn’t like being naked.
grape on the other hand is a female cat, her being a girl probably contributes to the sensitivity of being collarless, just look at real life,
boys go around with nothing but their underwear (or sometimes nothing) for years of their life, and usually don’t have a problem with walking around the house in their boxers, while girls mostly wear a shirt, underwear and pants/shorts (for obvious reason) even when alone and at home.
also in this comic cats are portrayed as deeper thinkers and more introverted, which would make them feel much more uncomfortable in awkward social positions.
grapes abandonment issues may play a role in her feelings of being mistaken for a feral, but i believe that her close knit relationship with her family and peanut have cemented the fact that she won’t be abandoned ever again.
Bino on the other hand may just be suffering from the Napoleon complex and doesn’t like to be seen in ways that make him look vulnerable.
or they could just not like being naked
What Grape was freaking about when she was collarless was getting caught and sent to the pound as a feral.
Grape is more aware of the world and consequences than Peanut, which is why Peanut wasn’t freaked out.
Bino is freaking out about it because – rule of funny.

The real reason Bino is afraid to go around without a collar is because his neck is so thin, he’s afraid that if he turns too fast, his head will just pop right off.
Peanut, on the other hand, is so buff and thick-necked, he can take anything anyone says about him wearing that big goofy grin we’ve come to know and love. ;3
Peanut unabashedly doing what Bino was afraid to do is going to leave a mark in Bino’s pride…

That’s one of two dogs in the background; he has a blue collar. The other dog’s collar is brown.
