Daylight Savings Grape I feel ya! -_-

    • FreakazoidVocaloid

You know, there’s probably not a single person on this planet who can give you a clear and compelling reason to actually follow DST.
It’s the first reason I love Arizona. :D

      • NightFox

Daylight savings time exists to do just what the name implies. Save daylight time. So that’s a good reason. To save daylight time.

        • Dogs Rule27

But it really screws up almost everyone’s instinctive sleep and awake clock thingy. :P

          • Argent Stonecutter

I normally wake up at 5:30 and get to putter around for an hour before I have to get up and do stuff. Summer Time steals my puttering-around time!

      • gaboris

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time

Originally in the early 20th century it did have a good point and use, but I think in these modern days it’s not so important for ppl. For example if I heard right they’re thinking on losing the whole DST in Russia cus it doesn’t have any benefits for the industry anymore. :)

        • Dogs Rule27

Really? I didn’t know about that.

          • revolution25

            I 2nd Russia’s opinion.
There was a point to it but it dosnt really apply anymore.

Except messing with people and screwing up a few things here and there it dosnt really do anything for us now-a-days.

….I wonder if its really that difficult to faze it out of our society?

          • Dogs Rule27

Yeah. The thing it screws up for me is getting awake.

          • Snow

            i hear ya

      • Zyrin

It exists because back in the old days before electricity was common everywhere, and when power plants would shut down to save fuel for the war effort, the longer months were rolled up a bit to give more time in the daylight hours. Thus more time to harvest the farm or stuff like that. Originally it was to cut down energy/candle usage. Now? It’s just habit.

      • pet_panda

Arizona for the win *short distance high five*

  2. Dissension

To be fair, this happens to humans, too.

    • Mettlebird

      ANd furies!dint forget us furries!! (yes..l I’m a furry)

      • Dabeyoun

Which means you are a human anyway.

  3. Rojoninja

Mondays always suck… Especially driving to school.

    • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

driving to school? try the entire school day.

      • netherwolf

Don’t forget the best part..the end of the day xD

    • CaptainPea

I’m sure Grape resents all the work she has to do on Mondays
      tons of work
yup, she’ll be working all day

      • Dogs Rule27

I don’t know. in almost all of the other strips Grape’s been in she’s usually sleeping. So i’m pretty sure she’ll be back to sleep in a couple of minutes.

        • SeriouSquid

          Work = Sleep :L

          • Trefoiler

I believe it was the late great James Davis that postulated that the reason cats show such expertise in lazing about…
was because they get so much practice. ;D

          • Trefoiler

            Did I say late great?
            Pfft. Sorry!

  4. IceKitsune

lol over sleeping like that always sucks.

    • netherwolf

      Always does..

    • Tenebraearum

WHATDOYAMEAN it “sucks”?! For me, getting to oversleep like that is a real treat because I only sleep 3-4 hours.

      • huntersunday

i agree 4 hrs of sleep is a good night for me id love to oversleep

      • Dogs Rule27

I usually only over sleep on weekends and spring break and winter break and summer vacation. Wow that’s a lot of ands. And a big run on sentence.

    • Dogs Rule27

The fact that ur avatar is Peanut sleeping just makes it funnier. :D

  5. Zero159

    I hate Mondays.

    • Dogs Rule27

      Seconded! :)

      • silverfang16

        Thirded….. -_-

        • anon_omis

          Fourth x_x

          • Jack

            Fifth O_o

          • Lupus

            Twelth o3o

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

            Sixth ^_Q

          • Dogs Rule27

And u said twelth (it’s actually twelfth btw) why lupus? ,:(

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

            Lupus is a time traveler.

          • Snow

            eleventh?
            Its What Gardfield Aproves on!

        • Dissension

          The End.

          • netherwolf

            or is it ?

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

            yes

          • Foxstar

            Right now.

  6. Millerdark

    Alt-text:
    “Happy National Jetlag-And-Fussy-Children Week!”

    Also, not first! :D

    • Tenebraearum

Wait, “…And-Fussy-Children”? Is Rick alluding to the fact that he has kids?

      • Rick Griffin

That would be impossible, as I do not

        • Tenebraearum

          Then what DID you mean?

          • Dissension

Kids get fussy with less sleep and whatnot. *peers* Making such a reference does not obligate one to have children.

          • Tenebraearum

*headdesk* Of course. I’ve been having brain farts all week.

          • Dogs Rule27

            Hehehehe… nuther brain fart. :P

        • The Moon Howler

Um… Rick, can you tell me what Daylight Saving’s time is? i don’t actually get it…

          • Tenebraearum

It’s when we have to set our clock back an 1 hour or something like that…

          • Nohbody

This link should cover the basics, without spending half a day trying to distill it into a short post that doesn’t stretch the comments page half-way to the Earth’s core. :P

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time

          • Frank

What’s so hard about “They wanted people to turn their house lights on later on summer nights”?

          • The Moon Howler

That American terminology is strange thing …

          • Frank

Because of how we use “on”?

          • CaptainPea

It’s an American tradition of confusing people that nobody likes

          • The Moon Howler

You don’t like me? *sheds a tear*

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

I believe CaptainPea meant that nobody likes the tradition.

        • Argent Stonecutter

I thought Rick had referred to the presence of a younger relative in the past, but I guess that could be a brother, cousin, or nephew.

  7. Dogs Rule27

Hey! I commented that I was hoping there would be a daylight savings time comic in the last strip! :D :P

    • Millerdark

To think Rick could make this strip in only a matter of hours -1.

      • Dogs Rule27

So you’re saying that Rick only worked on it for an hour or what does hours-1 mean?

        • tanglestalker909

I think he means the number of hours it took for Rick to make this strip minus 1 hour. :/

          • Trefoiler

            Now that’s fast!

        • Millerdark

He traveld back in time using his Daylight Savings Time flux capacitor

  8. Firewolf

YAY for Mondays! =D Do I have any seconds?

    • Dogs Rule27

      -.- You’re kidding right.?

      • Firewolf

I am not kidding, I love Monday =D 2 hours of debating with Star Wars and Jason Bourne puns. Another of Foursquare, and then the rest of the day for me to waste all my time on here =D

    • Zen

I like Mondays cause then a new comic strip comes out on a different Webcomic

      • RegularBird

I agree with that actually..But I personally hate Mondays as well.

      • netherwolf

I also agree with it,but the rest of the day, after you see what’s new, isn’t so great…

        • Zen

No cause after words I then have the house to myself so I can turn up the volume and listen to music or play games really loudly and make people think there is a war going on in the house next door Lol

    • Expletive Deleted

Eh, Mondays are okay. Wedsndays are a pain in the side though.

    • Dogs Rule27

Ok. Other than the The Moon Howler and myself………………. ARE YOU GUYS INSANE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

      • tanglestalker909

Yes, I love Mondays but I hate Tuesdays…

    • Trefoiler

Mondays usually don’t make an impression on me. Depending on the time of year, I’m either doing next to nothing all week, or I’m pretty much contractually obligated to be doing as much as possible every hour of every day… or driving somewhere to do something. It’s a big state.

Lately, Mondays are time of the week where we say to ourselves “How about we work here instead?”

      Webcomics are a plus, though!

      • Trefoiler

        /bold -_-

  9. rtlstien

I know exactly what’s it’s like to fall asleep and wake up two days later
For some reason it always seems to happen around when I take my finals…

    • The Moon Howler

Okay … i am starting to feel that for just today, ALL the world is thinking of sleeping, oversleeping and any kind of sleeping for that matter!

  10. anon_omis

In my opinion, if the Sun ain’t up, neither should I

    • zeroslash

      Here, here! Couldn’t agree more!

    • Dogs Rule27

      Yes.

    • silverfang16

      Agreed.

    • anon_omis

I need to get this put on a shirt

    • Frank

Hmm… So if the sun is down, you should also be?

      • Dogs Rule27

        I believe he means asleep.

        • anon_omis

*annoying game show voice* that is correct! You have completed the final round, tell him/her what he’s/she’s won Rick!

        • Trefoiler

          Asleep, hm?

          Survey says…?

  11. Cruzor

What is strange is that this strip reminded me that Daylight Savings Time start @ 12:00 am…Good thing I thought to view this strip or i would have to deal with change my watch over when i woke up…cts (chuckles to self)…I have felt like Grape does before…Besides just when you get used to Standard Time [Pow] Daylight Saving Time seems to just smakc you right in the face and afflicts you fatique and sluggish-ness…

    • Cruzor

      *smack

      • Dogs Rule27

It’s too much to read! Just put it in simple terms! And what’s with the “*smack” anyhow? :P

    • Frank

DST starts at two AM on Sunday

      • FuRrY321

Yes, Frank! I was confused, looking over at my clock Saturday night, confused as to why it had changed (I changed it) and yet my computer’s clock did not. Then I went into the clock settings, and sure enough,
“Daylight Savings Time being on March-13-11 at 2:00 AM.”

      • Cruzor

Okay, I admit that I may have a had a “Brain Fart” between 1:10-1:18am…though to be honest I may have had one all day yesterday…I guess that would explain why I thought my moms show started earlier than usual…cts…My brain was so scattered that it took until I read your coment that I picked up the final pieces and reassembled my it (my brain that is)….

    • Dogs Rule27

Today I had the same problem Grape has in this strip. But with a cold too. {:P

  12. xhunterko

Why a Monday? It always has to be a Monday! Agh!

    • Elwood Blutarsky

      You hate Mondays?

      • The Moon Howler

        most people are

        • Elwood Blutarsky

But Housepets! publishes on Monday. How bad can it really be?

          • Dogs Rule27

Well besides summer vacation it’s probely the worst day of the week. You know unless the strip is funny enough which it always is. :)

          • Dogs Rule27

            *Probably

          • The Moon Howler

Well lately the only positive thing that happened at Mondays is this comic :)

    • Frank

Actually, the DST switchover happens on Sunday

      • Dogs Rule27

So it just doesn’t put out the strip ’till the next day?

        • Frank

          Lolwhut?
Entering DST means that at 2 AM all clocks are set to 3 AM. No date-change.

  13. Hoheh

That’s so cute! She slept late. REALLY late.

    • netherwolf

Well..she does need her beauty sleep ;3

  14. Tenebraearum

I normally get 3-4 hours of sleep every night so I never oversleep. :)

    • The Moon Howler

      that isn’t healthy you know….

      • Tenebraearum

I’ve been doing even since I was 10 and I feel fine.

      • Frank

There’s this sleep schedule that gives you the necessary sleep in five 20-minute blocks. I think that’s what he’s doing.

        • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

that was Leonardo Davince’s sleep schedule, but I’m fairly sure it doesn’t actually work.

          • Frank

I actually researched this a while back. Breifly, Sleep is divided into 90-minute cycles, of which the middle 20 minutes are “deep sleep”. Usually a person needs 5 cycles a (3 in optimal conditions).

People who use the five 20-minute blocks allegedly go directly into “deep sleep”, thus fulfilling the brain’s requirement.
Whether this is “fooling” the brain or actually getting an “acceptable minimum” done, is an argument that has gone on forever.

  15. RegularBird

Oh man I’m so going to hate waking up this Monday.

    • Frank

You must be on the Pacific Coast

      • RegularBird

        Yep, SoCal.

  16. KickahaOta

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzhuh?

    • Keldor

      Excellent timing.XD

    • Frank

Your comment fits your avatar perfectly

    • Dogs Rule27

About ur avatar: “Yay! Group hug” (and I believe that’s exactly what Peanut said there. Or something like it. :D

  17. netherwolf

    Grape’s cute when she’s yawning x3

    • The Moon Howler

never seen a HP! pet, who isn’t cute when he/she’s yawning :D

      • anon_omis

Never seen an HP! Character that wasn’t cute…with a few exceptions

        • The Moon Howler

          Like Pete?

          • Frank

Pete can be cute! And I don’t mean just because he can transform into anything

          • The Moon Howler

okay … just kinda can’t imagine Pete as cute, considering he’s the “bad guy” of the comic … so to speak

        • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

          and Limerick guy.

          • anon_omis

            Exactly

          • Millerdark

            Whick strip was he from?

        • Trefoiler

I think it would be fair to say Jasper was having an off day. Nobody else comes to mind! ^_^

      • Dogs Rule27

        You’ve got a point.

  18. MKarrow

    D’awwwww… tired Grape. X)

    • Millerdark

      D’awwwww (keep going!)

      • Trefoiler

        Nah. ’scute, though!

  19. The Wolf Kin

I’m so glad this week is March Break, I can sleep off the stupid time change with no disruption to my schooling.

  20. silverfang16

Daylight savings time is pointless and just plain evil.

    • huntersunday

i agree if we lose an hour only to gain it back later on in the year then by all thought if we never lost the hour in the first place why would we need to get it back all in all daylight savings is not needed

      • anon_omis

It’s because the planet is farther from the sun during the winter and thus the light part of the day is shorter. Day light savings was made to compensate for this

        • huntersunday

yes i know but if it didn’t happen we would just have to deal with it being dark longer witch is a problem now for with the lighting but back then when there weren’t street lights every where then i could see it being a problem but now not so much

        • Frank

I thought it was made to save power?

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

that would make sense if it weren’t started before electricity was used to power things. maybe to save candles.

          • Frank

It was started in World War I.

Franklin’s proposal wasn’t taken seriously in his time

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

            very well.

        • Rick Griffin

The planet is not farther from the sun

          • huntersunday

yes the planet does not move away it just we are tilting on are axis a little bit more away from the sun witch makes it colder and we are leaning more toward the moon but the planet stays in the same spot and i didn’t think about saving power sorry for this piece of science

          • Frank

It’s closer, if anything: Northern Hemisphere winter occurs at the Perihelion of Earth’s orbit (the closest point from the sun) while Southern Hemisphere winter occurs at the Aphelion (the farthest point from the sun).

It’s why the South Pole is colder than the North Pole

          • huntersunday

yeah but the earth stills stays in the same orbit it itself does not move closer it just leans but i think we already agreed on that

          • anon_omis

The earth has an elliptical orbit as well as a tilted axis. That is why in the northern hemispher there are great shifts in temperature between summer and winter and in the southern hemisphere there is a milder change.

          • Argent Stonecutter

The south pole is colder than the north pole because the arctic ocean doesn’t freeze all the way through, so there’s a reservoir of toasty warm (for polar conditions) ice water within mere meters of the north pole. The nearest water to the South pole is probably Lake Vostok, and that’s almost a mile down.

          • anon_omis

i still dont get how a lake a mile+ under ice can stay liquid

          • Argent Stonecutter

Pressure and the movement of the ice generates heat.

            Plus the shoggoths.

        • Trefoiler

I was always under the impression that rotating on an angle causes a given hemisphere to receive less light each rotation causing lowered temperatures as a corollary.

But you’re right. Days are longer in summer, shorter in winter. Do what you will with your clock, you will still get the short end of the stick when the time comes.

      • Coyote

It also help in keeping calendars accurate as well. Personally I wouldn’t want to celebrate a holiday when its NOT in seaon.

        • huntersunday

good point didn’t think about that but it would eventually go back to being normal any ways but i guess if its not broke don’t fix it

    • Dogs Rule27

      I agree. :(

  21. the1truesushiboy

    I don’t mind it, personally.

  22. Somecrazyguy

Ya know the idea of Grape over sleeping…. isn’t she a cat… don’t cats just laze around all day. Well maybe not Grape.. but my cats sure do D:

    • huntersunday

she tries to but peanut always wakes her up witch surprises me that he let her do it this time

  23. Tahoe

Grape missed all of the Daylight Savings Night parties!!! D=

  24. Clairvoyant Legacy

Daylight savings isn’t until the 2nd of April here.

    • Frank

Oy, mate, April 2 is a Saturday. You want the Sunday

  25. Pokeblue

I know how that feels. Woke up this morning understanding it was Daylight Savings Time, and my body is still ill prepared for it.

  26. Radio Viewer

I never get the point of this daylight savings thing…

  27. Shiranai

I don’t follow daylight saving where I live.
So when go on my computer to check the web-comics I’m like “Wat!? I has internetz early for some raisin.” *derp* XP

    • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

daylight savings time: confusing people who don’t practice it since the time of Benjamin Franklin.

(PS and off topic: I just watched the source of your avatar last week)

      • Frank

ORLY? What is it? Does it have anything to do with raisins making the internet be early?

        • Cruzor

          lol…good one though I think he/she meant “reason”…

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

actually, I think he/she was trying to sound dumb, so the typo was intentional.

          • Frank

…and you’ve just weaseled (cue Argent) your way out of telling me what the source was

          • Argent Stonecutter

            Who, what?

      • Shiranai

Hah hah ha. The big brain is winning. I am the greetest. Now I will leave earth for no raisin.

(Also how did you like the movie?)

        • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

I enjoyed it. Now our off topic is over so we don’t get yelled at.

          • Dissension

            Too late.

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

sorry, I tried to keep it under control myself. I’ll attempt to be better about my off-topicness (and grammar nazism) in the future.

  28. Shake

In Hawaii, this is known as “All the TV shows suddenly start an hour earlier” day.

    • Shiranai

Hey do you live in Hawaii?

      • Shake

        Yep, Maui to be exact.

        • Shiranai

          Awesomeness! I live on Oahu.
          Internet high five. \(^-^ )

          • Shake

            Whoohoo! ( ^-^)/

    • Russiarules1

Hey, maybe Hawaii is not so different from where I reside!
      Nice…

    • Frank

I thought Hawaii didn’t do DST?

Though there is a Wikipedia article on that titled “Effects of time on North American broadcasting”

  29. Russiarules1

I hate this daylight savings crap, thanks to it, I had a little argument with my dad and realized that I was one more hour late for doing homework. In short, I am pretty much screwed.
All thanks for the only clock I didn’t change… the one in the computer.
Anyways, going back to the comic, I love to oversleep, since I always sleep for 2-5 hours, so, for me, oversleeping is a prestige.
I don’t know about you guys but, I am hungry

    • Frank

Shouldn’t your computer clock change automatically?

      • The Moon Howler

Not all computers do it … call it a glitch :)
and speaking of sleeping – i prefer to take a good amount of sleep, like 6-8 hours

You’re supposed to sleep 7½ hours a day, though if you live someplace quiet, 4½ suffice

          • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

actually, I think it’s supposed to be 9 hours.

          • Frank

9 hours adds an extra sleep-cycle, so you can catch up on your sleep if you’ve been sleep deprived. Most people are sleep-deprived (as evidence by the fact that coffee sells so well) so saying 9 hours works for most peple

          • The Moon Howler

*sigh* cofee… can’t people enjoy a nice cup of fruit juice(self made is the best)?
besides… 9 hours!?! oh well i guess it is normal for today’s people to sleep that much, considering all the pollution we make on ourselves… but that is for some other time

          • Argent Stonecutter

“It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.”

          • Millerdark

            Stone Cutter, who’s that from?
            Or is it self-made?

      • Dogs Rule27

        Mine does.

    • Russiarules1

Oh wow! My computer’s time just changed… A Friggin’ Hour Back!

  30. natranr

Grape is so cute when she is groggy. :D

  31. WingedWolfGirl

Grape, a snow day is unimportant to you but monday is.
    Ooh-kay.

    • Frank

It’s easier to keep track of things that make you unhappy, than of things that make you happy

      • Dogs Rule27

Yeah I know isn’t that weird?

      • Trefoiler

Well, that’s how it is when your conditions are largely ideal. It also takes a pretty bad average to notice a good thing.
It seems to me it’s more about how severe the break in the pattern is.

        But I digress… Grape’s a bit sick, but she’s pretty, baby!
And what it all boils down to
Is that nobody’s really got it igured out just yet.

So she’s got one hand rubbin her eyelid
And the other one’s… kind of off the panel!

  32. Salenstormwing

Daylight Savings Time is obviously an evil plot to make everyone late for important stuff, and cranky because they either don’t get enough sleep or oversleep.

    • Frank

What does that make the return to Standard Time? A reason to make everyone happy because they’re early and slept more than enough?

      • Salenstormwing

Yup. It’s the happy fun time of going to sleep late yet still getting lots of rest.

        • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

of course if you go to sleep after 2(meaning one hour after the clocks go back), you get the same amount of sleep.

  33. Tendo

For once Peanut is being the voice of reason towards grape

  34. Chaplin, A PERSON WHO COMMENTS

You have nothing to complain about grape, at least you don’t have to go to work/school.

    • Frank

Your avatar fits your comment perectly

      • Chaplin, A PERSON WHO COMMENTS

        Heh, I do my best

  35. Maxmice

I love oversleeping, but hate the fact that I miss all the good early morning T.V. shows.

  36. LogicFox13

hm i woke up at five:30 instead of the usual 7:00 and the fact that i was on computer 24/7 all weekend didnt help

  37. Dude Mc.Mann

I almost missed a job interview because of this crap.

    • Frank

This is so you’ll learn that whenever you set up an appointment close to the switchover, you need to ask what time-zone you’re using. In the best case, it’ll remind both of you to set your watches correctly; in the worst case you’ll both be an hour late by everyone else’s clock, but not from eachother’s point of view

      • gaboris

OR it’ll teach us to get a watch that resets automatically and if you’re body isn’t addicted to always sleeping X hours in a row you’ll be back to normal in a day or two. :D
That’s the two reasons why I use my phone to wake me up in the morning. XD

    • Pokeblue

I know how that feels for sure. I’m college student, and this week is finals week. Just barely made it to class before I would’ve been considered absent and gotten a zero on it.

  38. kai korovick

haha so true i totaly know how u feel i almost did the same thing last year

  39. gaboris

Ah yes our dear “Summer Time”, personally I don’ even take notice of it, except if my clocks don’ reset automatically. Sometimes I don’ understand why ppl have so much trouble with it since as far as I know “Jetlag” (the state you get in for “crossing a timezone”) only lasts for 1 day/hour, but do correct me if I’m wrong. :p

    • Frank

If you go to sleep an hour earlier on the night of the switchover, then it lasts none!

      • gaboris

Point there Frank, good thinking. :D

  40. Dogs Rule27

You know I think this is one of the shorter pages of comments.

  41. WingedWolfGirl

why’re you all complaining so much?
you get to go home from work/school and hour early. :D

    • natranr

But you have to go in an hour early as well. so I don’t see your point.

      • Dogs Rule27

He’s right you know (natranr is right). And I really hate going in earlier than I have to. It really sucks. It really really sucks.

      • gaboris

Yeah that’s why it’s lucky to have a… WAITASECOND!!!!! It’s Not even DST yet!

Ummm at least not in Hungary… No WONDER I didn’ notice it. How can this thing have different starting date for every year? Difference in locations is okay, but in years? O_o”

        • Dogs Rule27

Um… because of time zones maybe?

          • gaboris

I know aboot the timezone part, what I didn’ get is why does it change every year.

          • Dogs Rule27

Well… maybe it’s like ur b-day when one year it’s Monday then the next year it’s Tuesday etc.

  42. natranr

Ok, true story. I went to bed at like 7pm last night and woke up at 6am. then I read the comic and fell out of my chair laughing. and I felt groggy. icky mouth and all.

    • Dogs Rule27

Technically I was in bed at 9:30 but I didn’t go to sleep until about 1:50 in the morning.

      • Dissension

Which doesn’t have anything to do with the comic, really. Back on topic.

  43. gaboris

    I second that question.

    • gaboris

      EH???
What just happened? There were some comments aboot Pi-day here yesterday. :S

      • Dissension

Off-topic comments are subject to deletion. Pi day has no relevance to the comic.

  44. Dissension

Here are some things you guys might want to be cognizant of:

The rating of the comic is PG; your comments should not exceed that rating. This also means you should not use profanity. Attempting to bypass the profanity filter will count against you.

Your comments should be relevant to the current comic; please take all off-topic discussion to the forums. You should not post “first,” “lol,” or any other one-word response that does not contribute to the conversation. Do not re-post the alt-text unless you have an actual comment to go along with it.

Do not abuse or belittle other posters.

Don’t correct others’ grammar or spelling unless they specifically request it; this is annoying and downright rude. (This is not an excuse to use intentionally poor spelling and grammar.)

    Don’t post spam or advertisements.

Do not under any circumstances argue with, ignore, or impersonate a moderator (or Rick, obviously).

Comments that violate these guidelines are subject to deletion. Repeat offenders and those guilty of serious violations may be banned without warning.

    • Dogs Rule27

And you know all this how exactly?

      • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

he’s a moderator, one of the one’s charged with enforcing these rules.

    • Frank

Wow… We now have official rules!

How strict is the one on Grammar Nazism exactly?

  45. blackwaltz7

spring forward was wonderfully timed for us :D spring break!

    • Sirius Staarseeker

Same here! Thank heavens for my school’s normally terrible timing!

  46. Otookee

I did pretty much the same thing – only I got docked for it. I totally forgot that DST start is no longer near Easter – and none of my calendars this year have it on them, which is odd … anyway, I went through all of Sunday blissfully unaware of the time change, came in to work this morning, and “You’re 50 min late.” “Wha? I’ve still got 10 minutes before check-in…” “Daylight Savings Time, dude. You forgot, huh?” “Aaaargh…”

  47. Cerveny

Woooo! finally caught up on the story. Now ill have yet another thing to look forward to every couple days

    • SomeRandomGeekNamedBrent

      welcome.

  48. Jennifer the Dark

I love how cats sleep so much, then wake up and yawn :)

  49. LR

I haven’t slept for ten days because that would be too long.

  50. Mcdsnte

I like when my cat sleeps he fuses to the bed xD

  51. EveryZig

Has anyone realized that this is a landmark occasion? Grape has FINISHED a nap for once.
