Same here, especially since I’m a Sonic the hedgehog fan. you wouldn’t believe the amount of Fandumb, as someone put it up above to describe Lester, that goes on in that fandom. It’s horrid, and it makes me ashamed to be a part of the Sonic fanbase, because of how many people I hear that dislike the littlest things about what goes on. i.e. Sonic 4, new game ocming out, people boycotting it because his eyes are green and not black, the clasic spriting isn’t being used, etc. I respect what others like..it just gets rediculous though. -_-

When my kids were little I used to wear devil makeup, then dress up in this scary monk’s robe with a staff, and pull the hood over my head so you couldn’t see my face. Then I’d sit on the front porch, sit very still, listen for the little voices.

“I’ll show you…”
Then I’d wait until I saw their sneakers, look up throw the hood back to expose my horns, and grin diabolically.

hehe cool, when i get my own place the halloweens are going to be great (for me hehehe…) being the crude and questionably mentally sound person that i am i’d wait for the knocks on the door and greet them with a rev of my chainsaw! (just to scare them off of course!)
Nothing too complex, wear a black long-sleeved shirt, some black pants, a little more black here and there. Grab a few of their “adorable” toys and wait for the rings and break the toy’s head off after they ask “Trick or Treat”, followed by a sinister laugh and vegetable giving.
I get scolded every time I do it but it’s well worth it.

In this arc, Joey is normal.

Mimic the lifestyles of other species.
Watch TV.
Be artistic.
Play games.
Do things that they can.
If you look at it as an unbiased viewer, “normal” people do all those things as well though “normal” people are usually blinded by the narrow vision brought to them by social trends. At least they (Joey-like entities) know how to be really free unlike those who only see themselves free based on how being “free” was taught to them.
I think what he means is that Joey’s antics usually cause people to be exasperated with him. And the fact that he has a romantic interest with a mouse doesn’t help things much.
But now we see Joey in a rare moment of complete annoyance toward another person, but this time by someone who is much worse than Joey.
Also, Rick describes his as such on his character bio.
If so many people didn’t do it, Lester’s ability to never stop talking would be a skill at this point.

I personally like some anime dubs. Some of my favorite are Lisa Ortiz’s VAing of Lina Inverse. If you’re going to complain about anime, you need to complain about the VA they get for it, and not that it was brought to the US shores.
