Been waiting to see Fiddler and Keys for a while! Glad they’re back!
Also, I enjoyed the colors, they really brought a new perspective to the table!

Both Aerix And Sonic id furreh talk weird. at least Aerix as a grasp for the english, as he/she (most possible is she) spelled happy, like, and their right. Sonic on the other hand… only spell about one word right. EVER.
I’m sure Sonic id furreh spells some words correctly. Mainly those that are difficult to shorten/spell differently. I do find it strange that Aerix uses that cat suffix so much, though.

Anyways, this is no place to criticize others’ grammar. It’s hard to understand but never force ideals (because they are I-D-E-A-(L)-S not reality) to another, just makes bad relations and so.

It was directed at PrivateElliot though as I haven’t read your post when I posted that. I think Aerix uses that suffix to emphasize the role she’s playing. (Hint hint: It’s the avatar. though you knew that. . .) It’s freedom of expression (was it? Not very familiar with those) as there are no bindings that says otherwise.
I’m aware of why Aerix does it, and I don’t really have a problem with it, but it is a little distracting when every sentence ends with it. Sort of like a Moogle’s kupo.
I assume here is also a reason for Sif’s misspellings. It looks like he’s typing in lolspeak. Not very well, but it’s an explanation anyway.

The cast page says one is a guy and one is a girl, and I’m sure we’ve already had plenty of confirmation that Fiddler is the female.

Peanut isn’t the most spatially aware.
If my theory is correct, most of the cats at the Pridelands book release we’re female, with the exception of Max. That would suggest that Fiddler is in fact, female, which leaves Keys to be the male of the group.
Except that Marvin was there, as was Mr. Bigglesworth (50/50 there)
Can you confirm if Fiddler is female, or do you wish to leave it up in the air? Sorry if you’ve already said it, though…

It sure looks like they’re indoors so the indoor lighting (which is similar to the normal lighting if we take into account CFL or White LED bulbs) fits the scene perfectly.

If I have offended you by being myself then I truly apologize, though I would like to inform you that it was not targeted at you nor was I expecting your reaction to it as so.
Also, (i hope this does not offend you any further) with current information about the scenery the scenery would have had a shade of blue. Now I’m not saying it would have been worse if there was the lighting but it would either have been a very light blue (as the lighting of the gazebo would have counteracted its effects) or it would have been a moonlit scene where everything would have been covered in a somewhat dark blue.
Lastly, sorry to everyone else I posted this wall of text.

And my dad is Iranian (“ee-RON-ian”), so I should know. It just bugs me that everybody says it like “eye-ran” because the newspeople couldn’t bother to ask someone how it’s pronounced.

I have actually never come across somebody who mispronounces that, but I fear that when I do, people a couple streets over will be covering their ears.

No, it’s understandable. But, really, it would be OUR accent changing the name. If Iranians pronounce it one way, and we pronounce it another, it’s not THEIR accent that’s wrong, is it? *raises left eyebrow*
It’s just a pet peeve of mine. I have a similar one with the whole “EYE-rack” instead of “EE-rock” thing.
Well thanks to endonym/exonyms one can never be too sure. Do note as well that the mere fact it is spelled “Iran” and not in their local alphabet implies that the word could very well be of English/American coinage.
Well these mistakes are highly common as no one would mind, much less appreciate, these subtle differences if they weren’t related to the mistaken party (or taking language majors).
Well, I’m pretty sure that IF I knew how to write in farsi (Iranian language) (pronounced “far-see”), and IF I had keyboard that supported it, and IF I typed it in farsi, nobody would know what it was.
And I could type some farsi in “english” letters ( ithink we use the roman alphabet, but I’m probably mistaken, I know that we use arabic numerals), BUT you would all still be in the dark as to what I am saying.
But to get to the point you were making, “Iran” is the actual name of the country, as referred to by it’s citizens and those who come from or descend from those who come from there.

Following from the base of Fiddler’s tail, the tail line flows smoothly until it reaches the keyboard where the next part we can see looks like it got magnified.

PSH, Like I would complain about the colors. The lighting effects were amazing in the last couple comics, but it seems to me that using such effects wouldn’t be conducive to a comic that is updated three times a week. And it’s not like anyone was complaining about the old style =3 Excellent work as always. It has caused me torture at work with inaptitude and the inability to pay attention at certain points. I have to admit, until this strip I didn’t even realize that these two were characters, just went back and read all the strips with Fiddler and Keys in them, I always thought they were random extras.
