Everyone complains about how wet water rides are
I was in Bulgaria from 11.08.10 to 22.08.10 (few days ago). I was in aquapark for 10 euro, and it was fun (i didn’t complain about the water ;3 ). The only thing i didn’t like, was a shooting gallery, because the target was a black and white picture of a fox… with hundreds of bullet holes in it.
Well that’s just wrong. Why couldn’t they choose like a bear, or Justin Bieber?
Because the former would be too big of a target and the latter would scare away customers.
I lol’d. Why doesn’t anybody do traditional “Duck Hunt” targets anymore? (Not sure they ever did but it would be neat to say the least…)

It’s probably because their hair, ?, is pointed to the middle giving them the illusion of having angry eyes. Grape actually has displeased eyes for the first three panels though.
After a quick experiment, it seems that without the head hair covering the eye in that way Peanut does look more curious than angry. He does lift it up in the last panel so we can see his full glee.

Yeah, credit goes to Hypergenesis for utilising it first (I saw it used in the comments of the last comic), and it just kind of launched from there.
I use the “abbr title” tag, though. I think the two are similar, though there must be a reason either is used other than differentiation.

On an artistic critique(!), I like the lighting effects. They aren’t blunt and in your face, and they add just one more layer of depth to the images. If it’s not too cumbersome, you should continue down this path like you did when you experimented on the facial features.
Does Grape felt painful when she does that in the third panel?
Usually you don’t do things that hurt badly to yourself, so I don’t think she’ll hurt herself.

L’Hopital’s rule only works if you’re taking a limit of something, and you wind up with an undefined form. (R/0), (Inf/0), (0/0) and (inf/inf) are all undefined.
Plus, f’(0) = f”(0) = f”’(0).

Slight Review!
Grape (Panel 1): Urgh! I can’t stand wet rides.
Grape (Panel 2): You go on expecting to be refreshed, because unlike a drink in this place it’s free; but you end up spending the ride trying not to get wet.
I think that means she went on the ride expecting to get wet though it ended up with her trying not to get wet.
Ooooh…so true…even the last panel…*Darn those bears take forever*.

Dunno about that. This is the one from my desktop. I’ll see if I don’t have the other one somewhere.
Just make it square, any size, then resize the grab handles to full size at Gravatar.
What I did was just take the strip, crop it to one panel, load that into gravitar, and move the grab handles around. You don’t NEED to crop it to one panel, but it helps with avoiding any unnecessarily chopped ears and whatnot.
I meant setting up multiple emails. A bit tedious I guess but worth it.

On a side note I like the lighting Rick been experimenting on his comic.
This one in particular is great because i get a sense of how the day is slowly coming to an end.
I think he should continue “messing around” with the comic. Changing things up is a great way for a web comic like this to evolve.

Actually this type of lighting is making it look like it happened earlier than the previous comic.
Though on a side note it also makes it look like an entirely different day as the orange sunset happens only during near or after rainfall. This bright sunset is for clearer days.

I meant to say it is heavily chlorinated water so it would probably fall into the blue family recreation water despite chlorine being pale green.

The puffy chest fur makes them look less drenched that they should be, even short haired pets have their chest furs sticking to their skin when wet.
Hm, you’re right, it does. That seems like a difficult thing to fix though, because I think it’s the head fur and ears that have sort of drooped definitely tells us that they’re wet, and those two parts are quite large, whilst the smaller bits of fur don’t seem to do so as noticeably.
Maybe just their head got drenched on the ride, somehow?

But shaking would have dried their heads first.
The fur on their heads is longer.
Apart from the head fur and maybe the ears, it seems about the same length on the head as the body.
I don’t think shaking the water off occured to King in the last comic, either, looking at it… He still looks drenched when he snaps at Miles.
Apart from the “hair” fur and ears, the fur on their heads (the cheeks for example) is still fluffy.

*blinks* i’m honestly surprised that one made it through the censor-thing.
This lighting effect’s actually awesome. Honestly, so long as it is only this bright on sunny days(I’m hoping that’s what you’re trying to portray), then this is perfectly acceptable. In fact, it’s preferable.

Perhaps it’ll culminate with Miles and the other chaperones having to forcefully dragging a mob of pets by the collar back to the bus whilst also having to deal with a whole entourage of pets clinging onto them as well.
