So Auzzo tells ReCreate to pick a card. ReCreate puts the card back in the deck, and closes it up. Cuckoo then pitches me the deck, I smack it with the bat, causing cards to go everywhere and DarkHeart pulls out the correct card, the King of Spades, while Argent and Joker look on in amazement. Is that a good magic trick for you?

Where are you going on vacation anyways Rick? On your next vacation I suggest going to the boarder of Mexico, such a lovely place! Every morning the delightful drug cartels across from our motel took time out of their schedule to wake us up with gun shots. The residents are delightful too! I was in a store, I spilt my soda and the store manager started yelling at me. =)
The “boarder” of Mexico? Well, I guess if you went by train or boat you’d have to talk to him, but I assumed you’d be going by car! XD
How about Seoul? You get woken up by the morning propaganda loudspeakers and get to watch the populous routinely barricading their homes. And you get to witness two distinct cultures just Kilometers away from each other! And some lovely shows put on by the South Korean military forces as they perform “Cirque Du Armistice” written by the wonderful choreographers in the U.N.
It’s the good old 38′th parallel blues. Guess y’all can call that… Seoul music.

I didn’t doubt that he would tease us (if that’s what you mean) I knew he would any good writer would. I mean watch any sitcom with something like this in it (The Nanny and Frasier come to mind right away) teasing is exactly what was going to happen once he got back to Peanut and Grape and it will go on for some time.

I prefer my Linux experience to be much easier and with less setup. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a distro/OS that supports both my WEP-encrypted network AND my external soundcard.
Except for the KDE-based distros, but then network setup is a pain.

I thought Linux was a branch of Unix. Well, not even a branch, but a recreation, nearly.

Linux isn’t obscure enough to be hip any more.
You need to switch to Haiku.
I’m sorry, it’s just I’m so used to the way Linux works, and the BeOS-based look and feel just doesn’t cut it for me.
Plus, it says it’s designed to work well with multi-core processors. I have a 1.6 GHz Celeron M single-core. I’d only considerate if and when I build a gaming PC.

What is meant by this comic? And relative to it, what is meant by the statement of the little tooltip that appears when I hover over the comic? Because I always look at those, and I enjoy this comic every strip, and am interested enough in the meanings of both comic and tooltip. Uh, please? Thank you :>
On the comic strip, from what I could understand was that Peanut woke up grape for some stupid reason (as always), but since she screamed and would be very angry at him if it really was something stupid, he gave up what he was going to say and said that he loves her so that she wouldn’t get angry at him. And then Grape let it go, but just for this time. At least it was the way I could understand.
Now, for the “tool-tip”… I think Rick was just criticizing those authors that can’t stick to the characters personality whenever they want to talk about love. Imagine if Bino, who is bossy and very jealous, became tame, friendly and all mushy whenever Sasha was nearby? That doesn’t make sense. And it looks like Rick is sick of this kind of stuff….
Oh, Peanut is quite well enough aware of the wake-up-Grape-and-get-mauled gag to have intentionally subverted it just to mess with Grape a bit. After all, he’s even done a poetic version of the joke.
it’s a homage to the spirit of the comic. We used to see a recurring gag in which Peanut would wake up Grape for almost any problem (often nothing serious) and thus causing her to react with irritation at him. The comic started with such a situation, in fact.
Today, Peanut subvertes this rule by waking up Grape and telling her something really important to both of them, also underlining they’re still friends and for now they shouldn’t take each other too much seriously
Heh. yeah. We’ll never get to see Grape finish a nap!

How do you show your character’s love is true? You stuff him/her up with an increddibly mushy attitude and lots of stock references to Romeo & Juliet and the like! And when the moment has passed, everyone has to point out “Dude, that’s so totally not like you! What’s gotten into you?”
If characters could, well, stay in character and demonstrate their love in their own way… let’s just say the world would be a better place
From my experience, no one stays in character when they talk about love (or any other strong emotion, for that matter). When you’re “in character,” you’re just doing and being, but when you start TALKING about it, you have to try to put things in some sort of understandable logic.
Love isn’t logical, and so it’s easy to get flustered and confused, and you get out of character. So, yeah – it’s hard to keep characters in character, too.
True, but from mah experience, Ah found out tha the first year of luv is mostly mushy and dreamy. =3
But after U know teh person for a long time, love changes into caring and love becomes a trust factor, nya! =3 By knowing teh other vewy well, U become aware of his/her good and bad sides, nya! ^w^ And ya learn accept both parts of tha person, and ya act just the same way to tha person as ya would towards somebudy else, but then in caring way, keeping to your limits en his/hers, nya! OwO

Yeah. Personally, I think those two would be a cute couple.
They probably would be, but again, think of the awkwardness of near-brother and sister in love.

will someone STOP this brother-sister thing? It’s ridicolous! Every single pet couple in Babylon Gardens, where said pets are not blood-related is made of two or more housemates. The fact that some of them (like P and G) grew together should make you think of those romantic-humoristic stories like in Ally McBeal, where children grow up to lovers, NOT inc-st!

For how much I root for Sasha+King, sometimes I find myself thinking that Tarot, of all dogs, is the one who would better understand King and accept him, if he decided to stay a dog for the rest of his life. :O
