I wrote it the same way you did. I just don’t know how to get the symbols on my computer, which is why I wrote “{square root of}”. I also used the “{ }” instead of “( )” because I thought the equation would seem a bit more simple.

I think that Peanut means the cub needs to do something even more radical. After all, his commentary is simply about the nasty humans that come to their house, but there are more nasty humans than that and (really) the ‘nastiest’ human that’s visited so far is Bill, which isn’t saying much.
As for the alt text – well, this isn’t a political debate site, but I will say this much: regardless of what party you may or may not affiliate with, there are always going to be extremists. If you allow these extremists to take over the party, or become ideals, then your party is going to become ‘the source of all evil’.
And here is what I (and Granny Weatherwax) define as the ultimate evil: Thinking of another person as a thing.
That’s the danger that all soldiers have to deal with. They absolutely cannot let themselves fall into the trap of thinking of the enemy as just that: the enemy. Inhuman. Evil.
Which in some cases, that may be true (but I’m not in Afghanistan or Iraq, so how would I know?).
Society has become so desensitized to gore and violence, that the cubs depictions look normal.

What’s ironic is that I agree with you about society becoming desensitized (to more than just that), and yet I play violent video games (though not the ‘realistic’ ones like Call of Duty). I think it’s not just that we’re desensitized, but that it’s ingrained in our culture, sadly.
Still, the cub’s drawings are not all that disturbing, as while he is a kid, he’s also a wolf.

Really, the humans seemed pretty accepting. Mr. and Mrs. Sandwich treated Miles as a guest when he came to invite them to the barbecue. A lot of neighbors seem to have gone to that party, too.
