To be honest, it’s not THAT surprising that she made that up in like 10 minutes. All you do is start with a few notes and it comes natural. It’s still really impressive! I’d say it’s more specifically a German accent joke. But the problem here is that usually such jokes have a coherent sentence, and what makes it funny is not so much what they mean, but what they sound like.
A good example is Young Frankenstein.
I fail to see what “I will have to wear a bigger hat” means or what it has to do with anything whatsoever. I don’t suppose he’s trying to do something similar to the “Hungarian Phrasebook” Monty Python sketch?
See, if a joke needs to be explained in order to be understood, the joke in most cases would’ve not worked. So far I’ve yet to figure the reasoning behind what he said.
Usually there’s even the slightest amount of rhyme and reason to even the most out-of-the-blue non sequitur, but I haven’t detected it. If he intended to merely confuse me, then he succeeded, but I’m not offended by that because it’s not a very good method.
Now, clearly you find the joke rather obvious, and think this to be an indication of my inferior intelligence, so you threw another non sequitur at me. I do seem to have discovered a new webcomic through this experience, though…

Then the hostess tells him he’s needed in the cabin. The doctorslaps the passengers, leaving her to the hostess. Then the hostess repeats the ’shake’n’slap, then she’s called elsewhere and a nun replace her with even more brutality…then the camera runs to catch a line of passengers, each one ready with an assortment of weapons, all while the poor passenger is screaming…

I have seen this kind of thing on television and the internet many times, they all follow this guideline.
How to make your character seem musically talented.
Step 1: show them playing an instrument.
Step 2: grab the most complicated looking piece of sheet music and replace the background with it.
Step 3 (optional): if sound is available, use the most complicated sounding song for the instrument your character is playing.
note- song on sheet music and the music playing do not have to be the same song, music playing does not have to be limited to only the instrument that your character is playing and can include a full orchestra and choir.
