If you look at that section, it appears to be grammatically incorrect, but the full sentence is “They dared to PUT (the verb) IN A SATURDAY MORNING CARTOON (qualifier) A CHARACTER (the noun that was put)….”
At least, I think I pulled that sentence apart correctly. I know I’m a writing major and all that, but I still don’t have a clue when it comes to super-basic grammatical terms. That’s the problem with seat-of-the-pants people.

Classic 1960’s Scooby-Doo cartoon is always the best! Malt shops, the Chevrolet Sport van Mystery Machine! “Scooby dooby doo” “You Meddling Kids”, those awesome looking costumes. I watched that show on Cartoon network as a kid in the mid 90’s and I still do. ^^ Good times.

Now I begin to realise the personality differences of all six ferrets~~that’s really a nice touch here! So Duke is the most simple mind one, Keene is the “we’re not all about instinct~~oh dad I’m sorry~~”, Lana is the most playful (even among ferrets!) one (“just kidding!”), Pit is a bit of geeky~, Simon showes up in TV and Rock would most likely be doing silly stuffa. Basically that’s right?
Or anyone has better choice of words? En is not my first language so…please be understanding~~
I do know that we use the ellipses ( … ) to cut out certain things in quotes, rather than the “~”.

The have such a heavy accent that they tal in the same way they write. Like if a would say:

And now in Romaji Japanese:
Domo! Watashi wa Spadu Eriksu desu, nya! (Romaji Japanese)
(If any one spots a incorrection, purrr-lease tel meh, Ahm a bit rusty on Japanese, nya! “^w^ )
He ends everything with “nya”, which can be read as “nah”, slang for “not really”. Nya is also used in “nya, nya, nya, nya, nya! You can’t catch me!” which could mean, as used here, “Whatever I said, I didn’t mean it seriously, I meant the opposite!”
And yes, I know about the japanese thing, but the whole joke about today’s comic is that we’re supposing perfect English, isn’t it?

the answer to this little dilemma is that everyone was told to keep the camera, if they tell someone that they got to keep it, they have to return it, odds are that 1/10 people won’t tell, this experiment is simply to see if that is true.

There has got to be a better way of doing that. Like, embedding the button in the comment or something. Because for a 1-second long audio file, it takes too long to load the page.
At least on my computer, anyway
If this were a forum, it would be a matter of activating the embedding of flash code in posts. But it’s not; its a comments section. Despide allowing some HTML code, not all is allowed (the <sup>perscript tag, for instance, doesn’t work) including, I’m guessing, flash objects.
The alternative, I think, is to link directly to the file (sound or flash), but by default the browser should ask you whether you want to open or save it.
Point.
I am wondering constantly how much the bandwidth costs for the creator of that site. Because there are tons of people visiting that site EVERY DAY.
Another HTML thing I’m missing is the tag, for underlining, but I guess it’s not really important unless you’re in a forum.
That’s why I use CAPS for everything that would normally be UNDERLINED
Underlining is something you do when the message is handwritten. The equivalent in typed text is putting it in italics. Caps, rather than denoting emphasis, denotes yelling. Of course, since didn’t have italics until this year, we kind of got used to the caps thing.
But now we have italics and italicizing things is more fun when you bold-icize it, like so.

1. my mom’s become addicted to the internet
2. I liked it better when there where maybe 100 max comments an issue. each comment meant … more. it was… i don’t know… simpler. i just liked it smaller. (don’t get me wrong, i’m happy for this comics and rick’s success)
