Narbon is a mad scientists (who admits to being mad) and is obsessed with gerbils. Her company, Narbonic Industries, has two lab subj-- I mean employees, who are comparatively sane, but still follow their boss in her "take over the world" schemes. Sunday strips follow a separate continuity, but these affect the main continuity in the end. Very basically, Helen B. Narbon is a mad scientists (who admits to being mad) and is obsessed with gerbils. Her company, Narbonic Industries, has two lab subj– I mean employees, who are comparatively sane, but still follow their boss in her “take over the world” schemes.
