Pete is another character my brother had to an extent. He was actually not a griffin, but it doesn’t particularly matter because he wasn’t really used for anything that I recall. He works much nicer as a griffin anyway.

Wow… did NOT see that coming… wonder what’s going to happen next. I think it coulda been a phoenix too… with the whole warming of the weather, and pond cascading waterfall… or a sphinx… but then they’d have to answer some funky riddle like “what daddy is doing.” or something… (10 points if they can guess it, and a cookie for where I might possibly have gotten it from!)

Wow, I can see Grape either screaming or fainting in the next comic, or possibly running up a tree, she’d be pulling on Peanut to run but then she’d just go for herself.
No…she just wants a nap. An uninterrupted, Peanut-free nap.
My first order of business would be to jump into the pond… though… that’s just because I love swimming.
Unless it’s a grimy pond of fish… then I’d just lie down somewhere and hope the griffon doesn’t eat me… well, assuming I didn’t mind the griffon being there and all

Well no kissing scene, but it sure is something…different.
hehehe… I looked at this comic again and saw the last panel, then thought to myself “DAYUM! that Griffin is HUGE!” Then I realized that grape and peanut are about the size of half a human… so that’s a couple of small things next to a large thing… making either the small things seem smaller, or the large thing seem larger. Great job at keeping sizes to sizes… no matter how strange it looks XD

*switch to 5-second scene of gryphon peering into the bowl, beaming happily, then recoiling in terror as an intense rainbow blasts out and a small, intensely irish man jumps out and starts attacking him viciously with a walking stick*
